I like original Italian pasta...which means I love the texture of pasta made well...and not the soft/limp pasta so often found in the states. Mannys has delicious flavors and textures and we go there every chance we get when we are in Old Town Pasadena!
Prices are very reasonable and the staff pays attention and if you need something prepared a bit differently...simply ask and they will accommodate you!
A few times I wanted something low carb/high protein and they have tender chicken chunks (too big to be bites) on a skewer with vegetables. The chicken is moist and tender and it's great for a post-workout meal.

Went here for Sunday lunch today with my boyfriend. He ordered 2 slices of pizza, I ordered the sausage sandwich, and we shared a bruschetta appetizer. OMG... the bread here is just amazing. The bread on the bruschetta is just sooooo soft, yet crisp, yet melts in your mouth! We love getting bruschetta at every Italian restaurant just for the sake of comparison because we love it so much! Though I think the bruschetta is better at Pascucci's in Santa Barbara and at The Kitchen Italian Cafe & Pizzeria around the corner, I have to say, the bread was amazing!
The sausage sub just melted in my mouth! The pizzas were not bad either. I enjoyed the decor and the service. This place is not expensive either. I would definitely recommend it!
