Espresso Pizza is one of the best places for pizza. They are cheap and fresh, sweet tasting sauce fluffy crust. Cant ask for anything more!

Never mind that the restaurant smells of stale urine, this was the absolute WORST pizza ever. The dough was like stale cardboard, and it just dripping grease. UGH.

The pizza is the best in Lowell but they should let there customers use the restroom. The sign says no public restroom but if we are eating there we are then a customer. It would be nice if we could wash our hands before eating and be able to use the restroom especially if we have little kids with us.

Staff is RUDE, Really RUDE, if they make a mistake its YOUR FAULT. This place needs some remodeling, very grimy looking inside. Pizza i must admit is VERY good the rest of the items on the menu could be better. The Staff is the only problem in this place... VERY VERY Rude!

I've been coming to this shop since the 1960's. It's always been great pizza: italian-style crust and good sauce (not bitter).
The interior hasn't changed much thru the decades, but the product is still great. I visit whenever I'm in the area..... brings back memories of a vibrant downtown Lowell.

My girl told me about this pizza from when she went to school many years ago. 20 years later we went back to Boston, hooked up with her local Friends and bought ten pizza's. Let me tell you, I have eaten pizza all over the world, and this is one of the very best, different, but one of the very best... thin crust, sweet sauce, chewy...yummmmmy go down and enjoy

This is the Best Pizza in the World..I mean it! The dough, sauce and cheese is the greatest combination...nothing but the best! I now live in Maine and have ingredients shipped to me. My husband loves it too...that is huge in itself. No one can beat Espresso Pizza! Wish there was one closer. The dough and sauce has a special sweetness to it, great if you have reflux. Yummmmm!!!1

Great Pizza. Sals style with a sweet sauce. Highly recommended. However, staff is less than professional, interior could be cleaner, poor customer service. Despite that, the pizza is worth it. Place your order to GO. Don't hang out there, the staff and downtown clientele are seedy at best.

Food is very good! Especially a large extra Cheese pizza with extra sauce. Still one of the best pizza around the Lowell area.

food is very good especially the meat pie. sauce on pizza is wonderful, a touch of sweetness makes it special. The counter help is less than detail oriented and seem rather uninterested in getting your order correct. the interior has not been changed in 40 years. it is drab and rather worn down. still, it is always busy. the food sells itself.

EXCELLENT PIZZA! Best around!!!
The facilities could be kept cleaner, they need to have a bathroom to use for paying customers and the location is not so great because of parking but the pizza is well worth these little peeves.

Great great Pizza. I hate to wrote negative things about a place but stay away from the subs, the pizza is great but I"ve struck out on subs several times. The kids workign there are friendly and courteous and the pizza has a tasty crust as well as zesty toppings. It's just a pizzeria inside so take it home if you don't like those tiny sub-shop booths.

This PIZZA ROCKS. The best thing you can get is a large Bacon, Ham, Sausage, and Pepperoni. It will fill at least 3 people and costs $12. Probably weighs like 2-3 lbs. Sweet sauce, Perfect dough... I love their pizza

You walk to the counter, place your order, and find a seat. Nothing much to look at. You wait for your pizza. Your number's called. Pick it up, sit back down.
Wait a minute or two, if you can, then dig in.
Despite the atmosphere, it's the best tasting pizza you will find ANYWHERE. I lived in the area for 20 years and tried probably 25 different places, yet Espresso tops them all! Crust is puffy (often 1 to 1 1/2") at edges, high and yeasty. Sauce is sweet and flavorful. Pepperoni is unlike any I've had anywhere before, or since. Bottom crust is neither thin (crackerlike) or thick (pan pizza or Sicilian) and is foldable.
I believe the owners are Greek. I don't know just what "style" pizza this is, but I never cared! It tasted fantastic and was reasonable priced to boot!
Has slices for lunch, maybe other times as well. Opens later on Sunday.

I had to wait for over 1 hr to get a simple pizza w/pineapple. Why?
Because the person making the pizza ran out of pineapple at his station and didn't ask anyone to open a can or go in the back and crab it himself. So he just ignored the order.
Are you kidding me?!?!?!
The place was completely chaotic and unorganized.
Pizza was good (undercooked, because they wanted to get it to me as fast as possible, once they found out what awas going on).
I won't be going back.
