Went with 2 other couples. They never brought the salad before the meal. They stated you need to ask for this. The salad always comes first. They should ask if you would like the salad first. The waitress who wasn't to pleasant stated now that there are several table full we can't bring the salad ahead of time. So we canceled the Salad. When we got the bill they wouldn't divide it by couples. They stated a party of six is one bill. I have never heard of that. We were very upset and stated we would never be back.

I wanted to write a review because to be honest I have written a couple of bad reviews in the past, never about the food, always about the rude waitstaff. On I believe it was Saturday we took another chance and we were pleasantly surprised. The waitress was super nice and the food was good as always. Thank you for the enjoyable experience. Sandy

Absolutely horrible customer service!!!wait can be up to an hour and you are not even acknowledged for the first 30 minutes sometimes!!!Rose needs to understand that the customer comes first...as do the rest of the owners!!

One star is one too many for this place.
TERRIBLE... If you ever find yourself in the Norway, ME area... Do Not eat here. 1.5 hrs for hideous pizza, an appetizer, a salad and a weak drink. The pizza had a soggy crust, the extra cheese was a regular level of cheese and the dam thing had an after-taste of SOAP... What is that all about?? The waitress was a dingbat who kept bringing dishes to the wrong tables and couldn't couldn't keep track of her tables. Do Not Eat At This Place.

Excellent bacon cheeseburger, very good pizza special, fabulous view year round, but especially in summer from the deck, Sam Adams on tap! What else could a person want?!!! (For those of you in a hurry, go to Mickey D's.) My only complaint is they close too early.

My friend and I went to Boomers for lunch today, and we had to wait approx 20 minutes to place our orders. Then we waited some more (28 minutes) to receive our food, asking her once while she was going by, and got a rude answer of "It's coming." Meanwhile, having lots of time waiting, I noticed two other tables were being served by our waitress, and both tables came in after us. I tried to tell her that I was upset about that, but she dropped off our food and was gone in a flash! We had to keep looking for our waitress to ask for ketchup and more ice water. (didn't get the ice) My meal was good, but my friend's meal was not good, her fish was way overcooked. The waitress flew by us once asking if all was good, and my friend said "It's barely okay" (or something to that effect), but the waitress never stopped to hear that, or follow up with us at all. Again, we had to hunt her down for the check (she was having a social with another table of people she knew). Then she failed to return a credit card and another waitress brought it to us. We were there almost two hours, most of that time was waiting!
That was our last time at Boomers! Terrible staff!

This is the most unfriendly restaurant in town. I had clam chowder and requested an extra bag of oyster crackers and was told I could only have an additional bag after I consumed my first bag and then waitress never returned. Owners are unfriendly and intimidate the staff and the place is dirty. As you can tell by the other reviews these people have no business operating a restaurant. Go some where else!!!!!

we ate there (party of 5) on August 13.. it was 45 minutes before closing and the wait was terrible and it didn't appear to be busy. We joked with the waitress some and asked her name..(Barbara).. then I ordered something off the menu that someone else in my party also ordered to find out they only had 1 serving.. so I choose something else and they were out of the 2nd choice too.. so I asked to have an extra plate to share the original dish with my friend and was going to be charged a $3.00 plate share fee. I explained to the waitress that I should not have to pay that fee because they are out of everything else I wanted. she was Very rude and said "well then you better pick something else or I will be charging you the extra fee". She mumbled under her breath several times and was just plain old rude throughout the rest of my meal. she even had an attitude when we asked for drink refills. She did not have the personality needed to be a waitress.. she was extremely rude and sarcastic. I am usually a 20% tipper if the service and food is good.. and this time I only gave her $5.00.. not even 10%. She didn't even deserve any tip. She also never apologized for anything including running out of lots of selections. I will NEVER go back.. I had been there several times and it seems to be getting worse each visit.. so I am done! I would like to know if there are new owners because its seems to be worse only recently.. and its consistantly worse..not just a bad day.

On July 7, 2012 four of us stopped in to Boomers. It was a very hot and sunny day so we chose to sit outside on the deck. We opened up the umbrella ( It would of been way to hot to sit outside without it) IMMEDIATELY this waitress comes stomping over and in a very loud, rude, rude voice says, PUT DOWN THAT UMBRELLA!!!!! THE WIND HAS KNOCKED A COUPLE OVER ALREADY TODAY!!!
I looked at her, thinking she must be kidding with us, so I said, You're kidding right? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM NOT!!!!! she screamed back at us. We promptly got up and walked out and will never go back!
If the waitress would of said to us in a pleasant voice, Hey folks, we cant put them up today, too windy ( btw not a windy day) We would of simply sat inside, no big deal!
I was told it is a family run business so the waitress' are family and so they feel they can be rude.
All I can say is there are so many restaurants in the Norway, South Paris area, go somewhere where you will be treated respectfully.

Although this is not a review on the food, it's a review on the customer service. I just called this restaurant to simply ask if they were hiring and I had the most RUDE lady answer the phone, which I know realize is the owner. Instead of just giving me a simple "yes" or a "no", she started bombarding me with questions, which I was not expecting, and when it took me a few seconds to tell her my age (because I wasn't expecting an interview over the phone when I only wanted to know if you were hiring...) she said "If you have to think about it, then that's probably not good." So... I'm lying about my age because I was caught off guard? Wow. They should seriously consider learning some manners. Good luck finding someone who will want to work for someone who is that incredibly rude. Both times I've dealt with Boomer's I've had terrible experiences with one of the women who works there- once was when I ordered something from the take-out section and the other was just now over the phone. Wondering now if it was the same woman. Oh, and the time that I ordered take-out, I got sick from the onion rings. They were DRIPPING with grease. Disgusting. All I'm saying is.... I won't be visiting Boomer's again... ever. And I wouldn't recommend it to even my worst enemy. Terrible customer service. Horribly rude owner. Very unprofessional.

Read the previous review. We were there! Long wait. Kitchen issue. Couple next to us just ordered pizza and a chicken sandwiche and waited over an hour for that. NOT busy. Sad! Nice restaurant, nice deck and view on a main road during tourist season. Should have been packed but not. We too waited over an hour for small items and no silverware! Frustrating for the waitresses who have to face the customers.

Waited 1 hr and 20 min for meal. Waitress would walk by and look the other way. Never smiled. When asked why the wait, told they received a lot of orders at once. 7 parties on deck. (one had their food) 2 inside. (one had food) One couple left as they never even had an opportunity to place drink orders in 40 minutes. Had to ask for soda refill. Had to ask for silverware. (Three other tables had to ask for silverware.)
Husband had a hair in his pasta.
People were discussing the long wait at several tables.
We have eaten here several times but this was terrible and we will not go back.

I have eaten here a couple times, I live close by. I ate here today and waiting 35 MINS! for someone to come over and take our drink order. Our appetizers came about 45 mins later, then when I received my meal, they served me EXPIRED LETTUCE! when I asked the waitress about it (I asked twice) she told me it was just too bad for me and that I could not speak to a manager, that "she was the manager now" then she followed me to my car! A very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience!! I could not believe the awful service and the terrible attitude of our waitress! after waiting for an hour and a half, to be served disgunsting salad (NOT once during this did we get even an "I'm sorry"). BUYERS BEWARE! I wanted to post this as a service to everyone else!!

You won't be disappointed. Incredible deck for dining overlooking the lake. Outstanding menu. Pizza is a specialty and has been for more than 25 years, starting in a humble small general store in Oxford. Don't miss the BBQ pulled pork, done on site. The Chicken Parmesan is delicious and like everything else is a generous portion. Prices are respectable for what you get and the service is efficient and friendly where you dine in or out.

Would have been nice if they had a menu online. Called to get one but they said it would take a while and we are hungry now. Looks like Pizza Hut is looking better and better.
