Always fast service and great food. Prices are pretty fair. We always split 1 entree and a side with an extra egg roll for around $12. The food is always hot and fresh, and consistent. Our favorite Chinese food place.

we live near Upper Marlboro, but it's worth the drive to Dunkirk for great Chinese... counter staff is friendly and orders are always right... our favorites are the Pork Egg Foo Young combo, Singapore style Mei Fun noodles... egg rolls are always fresh and crisp (I really like the shrimp egg roll)... Gen Tso's and Lo Mein are always top notch... always a good day for Chinese with East Cafe just 10 mins down Rt 4... thanks East Cafe... you deserve the good rating...

Some of the best Chinese food in the area. Whenever we order, they get EVERYTHING exactly right, and even give an extra side of rice sometimes. They redid their lobby area, added some seating, and will bring the food you order out to you. Great service, AWESOME food!

I have been going to a Chinese Restaurant in Upper Marlboro that I thought was the best I found in a long time, but I found the food at the East Cafe was even better. Very Fresh! Plus I found that the staff was very helpful and friendly.<br />
The only down side is there really isn't a real dinning room, just tables in a lobby area. (no wait staff)

Started out pretty well. Portions and quality were good and fair for the price. They have slid into complacency with poor quality on the most basic selections. My most recent take out was Mongolian beef. A few slivers of tough meat and a full pound of sauteed onions and scallions with garlic. Disgusting ! Too bad about East Cafe.
