Eureka, hate to bust your bubble, but you are one of the problems at this restaraunt.. You're rude and your service leaves something to be desired. Also you're not the only one holding this place back. I have been there when the place is packed and I have been there when the place is empty, I have waited longer for my food when no one is there, vs when it's packed. My orders have been wrong multiple times, but because I understand mistakes I have gone here several times. However, I wont be back!!!

I don't know what everyone is tripping on. If anyone knows about sushi then they know it is hand rolled per order which takes longer than food that is pre-prepared. The food is fresh and cut and cooked daily. Futhermore, they do take call in orders for sushi. I know this cause I work there. If you cared bout the quality of the food u were eating you wouldn't mind waiting for food that you knew was prepared the minute u ordered it as opposed to something that has been sitting up under a heat lamp since the restaurant opened on the day you order. Get some japanese restaurant knowledge before you pass judgement on something u don't know about.

I was very upset to learn that this restaurant no longer accepts call in orders for Sushi. I guess the recession is not effecting these guys. I will never eat here again.

I went to Kyoto on several different occasions and found that the food was lacking in presentation as well as in taste. While I adore Shushi and Shushimi, it is not somewhere that I will go again due to their inability to process orders timely and get customers in and out during their lunches. I have sampled both their sushi, as well as their "Box Lunches", and both left much to be desired for the price. I will not go back to this eatery, nor would I recommend anyone to go there.

I love Kyoto, but I have been very disappointed the last couple of times we have been there. I eat the sushimi, but my daughters get a meal. Both times the orders were wrong and took an hour later than our food. We will not be back and will recommend other places. Kyoto has been our favorite, but it will no longer

Great value for sushi in Monroe. Wine prices are definitely high compared to other restaurants in Monroe, but the sushi is fresh, waitstaff is friendly, and sushi chefs are willing to accommodate special requests.
They did my child's birthday cake and it was just like I wanted and it taste great! They even helped me take the cake to my car. Very friendly staff...
