I hit this place everytime I take I-20 from Texas to Mississippi and back. It may be a mom and pop restaurant, but it's a gem. I have never been dissatisfied, in fact, I try something new each time and am amazed at how consistent they are with the cooking. That is very hard to find these days, consistency. The taste is incredible, and you would be hard-pressed to find food this good in a restaurant costing 2-3 times as much! Do yourself a favor and stop by. The owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met. It used to be a convenience store, but I guess the restaurant got so popular, they had to expand. They also have other locations in the Monroe area.
