-Pricy, won't be back.
-Potato salad taste bad/old.
Corn bread salad is horrible!
Could not finish either side because they tasted old and probably should be thrown out.
-Sorry to say we won't be back.

This place is Amazing. The best sour dough chicken salad sandwiches EVER! Their food is reasonably priced and they bag lunches are the perfect size of lunch. Food has always tasted fresh and not left over. I have worked in a restaurants most of my life so I know the difference in taste. The staff is always wonderful and accommodating. Sometimes it may take a little longer to get your food, but remember its not just the people standing in line placing their orders, its all the orders coming in over the phone and other ways you do not see that may have them backed up. I try to call in advance just to make sure mine is ready on my lunch break, They have a wonderful outside patio seating are if you like outdoor eating. Its just a nice cozy place. I recommend eating here if you are in the neighborhood.

I always love to eat here. Love the strawberry pretzel salad!!!

The food here is awesome! The only issue I have is that for a place that serves only lunch they are not in any hurry. Considering everything on the menu are "make ahead" items, it should not take 10-15 minutes to order and get your food. I do not eat there for this very reason. Whenever I'm in the mood for some cornbread salad, I always phone ahead and pick it up. Even then, I'll be standing in line for 5-7 minutes as they take orders. But as far as food is concerned, it is delicious and I would highly recommend them to others; but with the disclaimer, not to go there if you're in a hurry.

I used to live and work in Decatur and Let's DO lunch would deliver to our office.....it was so good that it is well over 10 years later and I still think about their sandwiches

I worked at Let's Do Lunch several years ago. The owner was super and the staff was a great team. I can vouch that everything is made from scratch every day with a lot of pride and concern for quality. The health department score on the wall will tell you the place is immaculate. You will never walk in their kitchen and see it filthy and a mess. They do not have a super large staff. So if you do go during lunch rush you will probably see where some inconsiderate customer's didn't clean up after themselves. They have obvious places to put your trash and trays. The girls behind the counter don't work for tips (they strive to get everyone taken care of as soon as possible). They don't work for tips, but very appreciative if tips are given. They have a small staff to try to keep costs down. If they had to pay servers and bus boys, aside from the staff they do have, you really would be complaining about price. Everyday they are open and you go in at lunch time and can barely get in the door...that should tell you something about this great little sandwich shop.

I've been to a lot of restaurants small and large for lunch. I haven't found anything anywhere that can beat what Let's Do Lunch is serving up. They have the best sour dough bread, chicken salad, tuna salad, pimento cheese, sliced meat sandwiches, cakes, cookies, homemade soups, cornbread salad, macaroni salad, rice crispie treats, strawberry pretzel salad that is never soggy (which no-one can make it like Let's Do) and often something special for lunch that would remind you of good ol' home cookin'. Keep in mind everything under their roof is made from scratch w/ the best quality ingredients.

If you're ever in Decatur this is a must for lunch. And if you live in Decatur, you're lucky you can go there anytime and should go often. I will be going back now that I'm back working in Decatur. They should really consider expanding their location to more than just Decatur.

Much love...and "Let's Do Lunch"!!!

I eat here quite frequently and the food is very good and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. The pricing has always seemed very reasonable for the quality and freshness.

Wonderful food, great service. The sour-dough bread is excellent. Will go back soon.

Some of the best Chicken Salad & Strawberry Pretzel Salad I've ever had! You have to get there early if you want the Strawberry Pretzel Salad. They make everything from scratch each day and only make enough portions so that they don't have any leftovers. Sooo woth every penny!

I'm having a hard time with the previous reviews stating RUDE employees. I wish I could have been there on that particular day to see what you're talking about. I've always had WONDERFUL service with all the staff. They have a menu with homemade items at reasonable prices PLUS their special homemade sourdough bread. That there is worth the extra penny. I don't have time to make homemade sourdough bread. Do you? I suggest everyone try it. And, as for any uncleaned tables, has anyone thought to ask for an employee to come wipe them off? Didn't think so! The staff is people friendly and will help you out in whatever your request. I know for any big orders (whole strawberry pretzel salad, pints or quarts of chicken salad, etc.) you definitely need to call in advance.

SMALL portions....HIGH prices......RUDE employees....here the customer is NEVER right....clean this place up.....filthy..will not be back EVER !!!!

review_stars 01/27/2010 - Sussie Armstrong
very expensive, small portions, rude service, unprofessional looking staff....tables were not wiped down after each customer left...ewwwwwwwwww !!!!

review_stars 01/22/2010 - Jim Smith
If you small portions at high prices with rude service then you should go there. They have sandwichs and some school cafiteria style sides. The food is not bad but it is nothing to rave about.
