KFR is a wonderful place to enjoy food. The service is great, the meal is cooked to perfection and the atmosphere is conducive to having a relaxed mood when waiting and enjoying the meal.

Great service. Great food. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. This was, I think, our third visit. We're from out of town, but came back, and will visit again when in the area.

food is getting terrible there slices of cake are about one half of an inch thick .. dirt on my baked potato yuck noisy nasty waitresses work there wont go back will go into appleton for now on.......

Unreasonable Carry-In Restriction!
I have been coming to this restaurant 2-3 times per month for the nine months I've been living in the area. On my most recent (and last) visit, I was told that I could no longer bring in my own bottle of real maple syrup (which I highly prefer over the "maple-flavored" pancake corn syrup provided by the restaurant).
Now, if Kaukauna Family Restaurant provided real maple syrup, I would happily pay a little extra to have it over the fake stuff they serve, but they don't offer that option. I'm extremely disappointed, and frankly surprised, that the owners would choose to lose regular paying customers over such a ridiculous "rule!"
I'll be taking my family and my local homeschool group elsewhere for breakfast and for meetings.

We have been going to KFR for 6 years on Friday nights with very good wait staff attending to us. The owner has been very personable and has sat with us and asked how our meal was. We never had to order, they knew what we wanted. Last night we were given a slice of cheesecake the thickness of a coaster. They didn't accomadate me with a normal piece of cake. And when questioned, they blew it off. Good foor but I will never go back.

Just had breakfast here with two friends. We weren't greeted at all, just simply asked "are you ready to order?" Waitress was extremely unpleasant and acted as if our presence annoyed her. When the food arrived, ribs were cold along with accompanying sides, received no turkey on a TURKEY club sandwich, and when asked for turkey received attitude from the waitress and a single extremely thin slice of turkey for my sandwich (COSTING ME ALMOST 11$) HORRIBLE FOOD, HORRIBLE SERVICE, NEVER RETURNING HERE AGAIN.

The server made me feel as if they didn't want my money. Food came out cold. The ribs are simply nasty! The meat on the sandwiches is a joke, it was one slice about a centimeter thick. The bathroom was disgusting. The ice cream was the best part and it was plain, vanilla.
Place is dull, service is horrible, and the food is for anyone without taste buds.
