I remember eating here as a child with my folks on what I remember as a kind of back porch. The food was great then (1957 or so) and was still good last month. I loved the fresh perch last winter.

We didn't know what to expect from the Clover House Pub when we first arrived. The location was a little odd (right in the middle of a residential neighborhood) and the building seemed a little run down...but the parking lot was PACKED! The entry way makes you wonder if the restaurant is really THAT small...but don't worry, that is just the LOUNGE they have a small dining room as well. The bar was packed with locals (as was the entry/lounge). But don't let this deter you...the FOOD is AMAZING!! The prices are a little high for the area, but definitely worth it. I got the Bistro Steak with market vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was to DIE FOR and the sauce was AMAZING. My husband got the baked seafood medley...it was also delicious. As were the rolls they brought out which we devoured.
If you haven't gone yet, you should. Expect to pay about $20-25 per plate. But also expect to walk away having a great meal!
Service was slow...but the place was PACKED so it was understandable.
