Best sushi in the area! I get takeout there every 1-2 weeks, and the fish is always super fresh!
And like one of the previous reviewers noted, they always remember you, even if you haven't been there in awhile.

TOMO SUSHI IS GREAT!!
All food is delicious. They serve outstanding yellowtail, and the service is most friendly and fast.
They always remember us, even when it's been awhile since we were there.
We love going there several times a month, usually once a week and sometime more!

After walking past every day and finally deciding to try the food, I was delighted to find that this small Japanese restaurant serves some of the best sushi in town, and some of the best I have ever had; no exaggeration.
Behind the innocuous facade of this small family run restaurant, the food is prepared before your eyes and the quality of the fish and other ingredients is excellent. Comparably speaking it may be a couple of dollars more expensive than the local competition but the superior quality of the sushi, combined with great service and welcoming hosts, completely offsets this.
Rosslyn is predominantly an office area and at lunch time Tomo offers a lunch buffet. Priced on weight, this makes the sushi cheaper than it is in the evening and I highly recommend paying it a visit if you work in the area. The restaurant is small and the decor simple yet agreeable. But don't let Tomo's inconspicuous appearance pass you buy. This is an undiscovered jewel for both Arlington and DC and once you've been once, you'll most certainly return!

This is the best sushi I've found in Rosslyn so far, better by far than any of the sushi places up the street. The fish is fresh and reliable, and the quantities are good for the price; it's a small place but the people there are very nice.

This is an excellent place to try sushi if you are new to the experience. I certainly recommend this place to anyone in the Northern Virginia area.

Excellent sushi....best I have ever had! Small restaurant but if you are going for the quality go to Tomo. I just grabbed carry out and it was excellent and extremely fresh. Cant wait to go back!

The BEST sushi in Northern Virginia, better than some of the finer places in Washington.

Best food around this area. Delicious and fresh sushi. only problem is lunch crowd and small space. but it's o.k good price and good food.

Good food. We had a great time because the food was good & cheap. The $1 sushi menu was the main attraction.
The downside was the seatings were tight.

This place has some of the best sushi in the DC area. Overall, reasonably priced but the lunch by-the-pound buffet and the $1 sushi happy hours are a steal. Small and quiet, serving more to the lunch crowd but good anytime. Possibly the best sushi value in DC.

My friend and I both love sushi. I went there last week with him for the first time (we always go to Cafe Asia, which is a few blocks away on Wilson Blvd.), and it was fantastic. Traditional ambience, delicious and fresh sushi, and cheaper than Cafe Asia. I will definitely be going there again soon. I would go tonight but they are closed on Sundays! :(
