I believe the restaurant I visited on Sat. Feb 8 for my mother's Birthday dinner is currently closed, as we learned a week later that the owner had passed away; however, I continue to check for any updates as the food, particularly the meatballs and pasta soup, is outstanding and we have been loyal customers for a long time, despite the loud and crowded atmosphere, because it offers good food at a reasonable price.

Absolutely the nicest crew. We had a wonderful dinner. My husband and I have brought friends here to.

This was the worst "italian" food I've ever had. I ordered chicken parmagiana which is usually safe. The chicken was an unatural color...like a grayish brown. I didn't eat it. My husbands lasagna was nasty. The dressing for the salad didn't have any flavor. The only thing we got that was decent was chicken fingers and fries for my son...I ended up stealing a piece of chicken to go with my pasta and sauce. THEN...to add insult to injury...it now looks like they added a 20% tip to our takeout order.

I just had dinner at Lotsa Pasta with my family. I made a reservation for 9 yesterday. This was the absolute worse experience I have ever had at this restaurant. My family and I have been coming to Lotsa Pasta for a family dinner every month for countless years, spending thousands of dollars a year or more. We have always enjoyed ourselves, the service and our meal, but tonite was a horrible exception. This evening we came in to celebrate a special occassion. When ordering we asked how much certain items were including the Surf and Turf and Lobster Scampi as prices were not noted on the menu. Our waitress, was difficult to begin with, almost making us feel she was doing us a favor bringing adequate silver ware and plates for our table. When the bill came we were charged much more for the lobster dishes than what she quoted even WITH the chef standing there speaking to us! When I questioned she said that the prices she stated were incorrect and not her problem. I spoke to the manager and he frankly didnt want to hear it or did he care. In fact, he asked us to leave. The waitress was rude, her service was poor and worse the manager was arrogant and did not care and effectively threw us out including a ninety year old and two eighty year old patrons. How sad. Not only was he rude but in an economy like this to throw out regular patrons who have been coming for over a decade and spending thousands of dollars each year. Their business must be doing well and I congratulate them. However, we will not be returning as the manager does not know how to manage and the waitress does not know how to waitress. I have no issue ever paying for what I ordered. I just like to know the prices and when told them appreciate them being accurate. I just wish your waitress was more careful, was more attentive and your manager really cared about customer service.
