We were in Fort Collins for our Granddaughters graduation from CSU. We had a very hectic weekend and stopped in at the last minute to relax. Every one there was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good . Servings were big and prices reasonable. Special shout out to "Millie"

The Canyon Grill has been taken over by new owners since July 2012. Everything has changed if you read some of the posts from before this date they are explaining the actions of the previous owners and do not reflect the restaurant at all today. They have great food and lots of fun!! Karaoke every Friday night and open mic every Saturday evening! The staff are extremely polite and nice as are the patrons. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

I have enjoyed prime rib at 4 star eateries, paying upwards of $100 for the entree, and it was not as well prepared as the cut I enjoyed at Canyon Grill. Seared to perfection crusted in herbs with a mildly warm pink center. The au jus took on the flavor of the seared roast. They had creamy and freshly grated horseradish available as well.
The atmosphere is casual, laid back. The night I was there people from diverse walks of life were in attendance. I saw no evidence of bigotry or politics at all as some have mentioned. It seemed friendly, warm and welcoming.

We recently ate there....aside from the food taking so long...an hour for a burrito...i all fairness, it was HUGE and well prepared. The owner ,Lisa could not apologize enough...they were very busy that day due to a motorcycle poker run taking place at thunder mountain. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive..she also apologized due to a cook not coming in and the extra busy day due to the run. As far as redneck, bigots and the other reviews....we saw no hint of any of that...just a classic hole in the wall bar that we would and will visit again...maybe not during a poker run! lol. The only reason is was "just okay" is the wait for a burrito which put us way behind the other riders on that day of the run...otherwise it would have been a great exp.

I recently stopped in at the Canyon Grill with my husband. I was very upset about the owner repeatedly calling President Obama a n*****. He said that he owned the bar and could say anything he wanted. That may be true but I din't have to listen to it. I won't go back.
