Ate at Angie’s last night but was not impressed with it the table had not been wiped off and the food was not too good the owner walked around and never spoke the first time but have too give the waitress credit she was awesome could not ask no better for her but everything else no good!!!!

My friends told me about Angie's several months ago and we had take out because of virus, The food was good every time, cooked as directed. Recently we have had the time to dine in, The country feel is fun and friendly. The food is good, and worth the price! Our waitress answered all questions about the menu items, she also made us feel welcomed. After 30 plus years in the restaurant industry my opinion of the negative comments are petty and unfounded!!! If you want good southern food come on down. Chef D.

Not expecting too much, hoping for good catfish, hushpuppies, slaw. Pretty basic. No dice. Not happening. Find another place. For $19 bucks you get to stand in a single serve buffet line for 5-10 minutes. The line moves only as fast as the slowest person. Went through 3 times before I finally got some fish. Never lucked up and got a hushpuppy. At a SEAFOOD buffet. The crab legs were very popular and seemed to be why people were there. I can't imagine any other reason someone would go there but there was a wait for them also. Seafood buffet and good catfish places used to be fairly common in the South. I guess not anymore. This place swayed back and forth between bad and not good but there were still people there although I can't explain why. They seemed crazy for crab legs though. I am a simple, local guy and easy to please. Not a yankee snob. Cold coffee, assembly line food, bad seating, ridiculous waiting. Next time: Cap'n D's.

NOT WHAT IT USE TO BE
My extended family and friends have been going to Angie's (DYES) for years. Several years ago it was awesome. The best stocked buffet in the area. While the price of the buffet has been steadily going up (hasn't everything) the food selection on the line has continously gone down. The first thing to leave the line was fried oysters, the primary reason I started to go there. They were removed from the line following a gulf hurricane. I was told this move was temporary, till their cost came down. The second thing to leave was catfish filets, don't know the reasoning. The last thing that left was the boiled shrimp, my wife's favorite, again left with no comment. While the price is still at a premium the food selection is now below par. I hate to take this restaurant off my families place to go but we can get better value else where. We won't be going back till the food selection is upgraded to meet the price.

My husband and I came in to enjoy some seafood. I must say..We were disappointed. First...You need to cut the grass. It doesn't need to look like it's an abandoned restaurant. I ordered oysters and catfish with a baked potato. My husband ordered shrimp crab legs and salmon. We both got the salad bar. The lettuce looked like it was for hamburgers and looked leftover from days ago. The restaurant was dirty and very unkept. Waitresses were texting as they are going to wait tables. Our waitress was awesome and we had no problem with her. My baked potato was leftover from the day before. It wasn't even hot. My husband said his food was very overcooked. We have been there several times in the past because we like to support local businesses. I can tell you..That was our last trip. The last time we went we were disappointed but thought maybe we just caught them on a bad day.

I would normally give Angie's 5 stars as we have eaten here many, many times but my husband and I ate here last night (12-18-14) and I ordered a steak and it was so tough I could not eat it and my grilled shrimp had a good taste but they were overcooked. The shrimp on the bar were cold and they had no fried oysters. I was very disappointed. The service is always good and we will be back but I do hate to have to pay for food that I cannot eat. My dogs did enjoy the steak.

went to angies 5-10-14 food was good although selection was not as good as pollards corner, they were out of oysters and crawfish , when asking about crawfish was told they were cooking and will be out in 5-10 minutes 30 minutes later they brought out a handful , not enough , did not like them adding 15% gratuity to bill , this takes away my choice , also atm limits of 20.00 is not realistic , IF YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW 80.00 IT WILL COST YOU AN ADDITIONAL 14.00 in this day they should take debit cards for customer convenience , as long as it is ran like this way I will not be back neither will any of the 8 people that were with me who were equally dis-pleased

If your going to advertise all u can eat crab legs u need to be able to meet the demands of the customers. I drove sixty miles to east crab legs and left hungry and irritated. So please buy some bigger pots please. And hire waitresses that will come and wait on u instead of me having to get up and find my waitress

I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fresh and good tasting shrimp. RL may
give you all you can eat- but it is frozen and the only taste is salt! I love this place and drive over two hours to prove it.The grits are superb and the crab legs are the juicy and BIG. Plan on eating a lot and staying awhile. Wait staff has always been very pleasant- if not hurried. I don't eat it but they also have very good fish. Only small draw back is don't sit in front of the AC- you will freeze.

I have eaten at Angie's a couple of times. I like the food. I agree that they need to take credit cards because now people try not to keep cash on them. I love their fried shrimp and all you can eat crab legs. Sometimes I am stared at because I am of the opposite race. But I hope this is just a coincidence because this is 2013. I will go to Angie's again.

A+++++ Amazing food at an amazing price!!! I grew up
On the East coast and moved here 6 months ago needless to say I miss good seafood! Well no more.. I found my home away from home! Everything was delicious from the crawfish to the fried oysters. Not to mention the staff was super friendly and my tea never got below half a glass!! :)

My wife and I travel with very little money. We almost always use our debit card. Angie's doesn't TAKE DEBIT cards, but they have an ATM machine right there at the register. I used it to pay for our meal and i was informed on my printed slip that there would be a $2.50 charge. When I got my bank statement, an additional $1.00 had been deducted from my bank account. I'll never eat there again... if a restaurant is too damn tight to take debit cards, then I'm too damn tight to eat at their freakin' restaurant --- and get ripped off by an ATM machine! I wrote the restaruant, complained and my complaint was ignored. By golly, I bet folks will read this! ANGIE, take your seafood and go jump in the ocean!!!
