Any buffet is going to have good and bad food and that usually means you can find excellent value. I didn't have to try too many things to have a good plate of food. The hot seafood was ... way overcooked ... (sorry, no nice way to put that) and difficult at best to eat, especially without the right tools which were not provided. I seriously would reconsider giving this place an 8 for food if they stepped it up a notch with the seafood. The service is not great at the tables, but the food is generally kept fresh. I'm going back again because there is a great selection and the price is right.

The Good: Good variety, the menu had a lot of seafood and some interesting dish's that you normally don't see. The quality of the food was also good. The atmosphere was nice, very large and open with decent lighting and design.

The Bad: Sushi is extra and is extraordinarily over priced 3 dollars per piece or a platter at a slightly lower price. The location is also just not ideal, at least for our needs driving into Hartford was not the best part of the experience. Service was so-so, took a long time to get plates cleared they did refill our drinks but then when the bill came the waitress was hovering which was quite uncomfortable.

The set-up: Three Large serving counters double-sided, 1 fruit and sauce, 1 desert, Ice-cream 6-8 flavors no toppings.

Price: 12.50 per person

The Verdict: If you're local to it and not a fan of sushi you can certainly do worse, for us we'll probably never go back
