I placed an order 7/12/2023 over the phone with Savannah at BB's Fish Fry & BBQ 1100 Carter Street Vidalia, LA 71373. I ordered two shrimp plates, substituting the coleslaw on both orders, on one order the sides were sweet potato souffle, and fried okra and the second order sides were fries and onion rings.
My husband picked my order up before doing so he was told by one of the girls oh you might want to get a menu because when the order was placed she was asking a lot of questions and we didn't have time to answer them because we had a lot of customers. I was very puzzled at that being said, because the questions I asked were answered although Savannah gave the phone to the older lady to talk to me who was very unpleasant and a bit frustrated but I ignored it and kept my order. I do not understand why my husband was addressed with the conversation that I had over the phone with Savannah and the older lady when I placed my order over the phone. And to make the statement you did not have time to answer questions because you had a lot of customers, was I not a customer also?

When I got my order at home my fries were not in the order. I called BB's Fish Fry to let them know my fries were not in the order. I asked for the manager and was told by an older lady who answer the phone that the manager was not in, sounding frustrated, bothered, and refused to give me her name, she said she could help me. I told her I didn't received my fries. The older lady being very rude stated, so you waited an hour to call and say your fries are missing. She also was argumentative. I was shocked. What a way to address your customer. The polite and kind way to resolve the issue should have been, I'm sorry, when would you like to get your fries.

So having a lot of customers are important but the way you address your customers is not. That is extremely important because good customer service is what keeps your customers coming back and your business opened. I explained to the older lady, I do not live in the town and besides are you not concerned about the reason I called. I asked her what was her name, she said I am not giving you my name.

A second time being very rude she got off the phone without making me aware that she was doing so saying don't give her my name, gave the phone to Savannah, repeating in the background, don't give her my name. Savannah get on the phone, she said I took your order, can I help you. I told her my fries were not in my order. she said, we can give you the fries if you want to come back to get them. I was still in disbelief of being spoken to that way and the way my husband was addressed when he pick the orders up. I asked Savannah is this the way all of the customers are treated? The lady that just got off the phone was very rude and argumentative, that is not good business. She said, very hesitant, I'm sorry, I don't know why she acted that way. I asked Savannah what is the owners name, she said, that's not necessary, you can pick your fries up. I told Savannah it is very necessary, so are you refusing to tell me. Savannah just held the phone in silence.

The older lady got back on the phone and said, I don't see what the problem is. I asked her if she could tell me the owners name she also refused. I concluded at this time with the rudeness, and being argumentative not only is this a bad place of business but a place I will never recommend again nor spend my money at when I come to town.
I hope no one else experience such a sadden situation like this a situation that could have been easily resolved. This business definitely need a change, employees who are not rude and argumentative and really listen to the customer when there is an issue, without causing unnecessary problems, employees who value their customers and believe in giving good customer service to keep their customers happy and coming back.
BB's Fish Fry BBQ has definitely lost my business.

Do not like this nasty coleslaw. First time I ever had it with bell peppers. Did not get any catsup or tartar sauce with fish and fries.
