Scored a nice table by the window overlooking the bay on a Friday evening. My dinner was quite good. I was hungry and ordered an appetizer right away, but don't suggest it if ordering an entree since it comes with bread and crackers and cheese and a relish tray with veggies plus soup or salad. I was full. The waitress was pleasant and professional. The food came out quickly, but with enough time between courses to enjoy each. The room was almost full, but it was not too loud. Glad a nice place with good food showed up in town.

First time eating there, Had a wonderful dinner, best meal in a long time, The chicken special was awesome, The sevice was good, daughter of the owner waited on us, cute as a button and did her job very well. Can't wait to go back...... Please everyone , give them a chance, don't be so critical, just Enjoy !!

I am shocked by there poor service and quality of there food. Took forever to get a table.and mind you there was only four other couples there. We waited forever for a waitress to ask for dranks or give us a menu.It was our 29th Anniversary and I really disappointed with it all. The food was cold, the staeks were horrible and seasoning on them almost tasted like dishsoap..the waitress was pleasant;but had no clue on how good service works.I would not go back again.

My husband and I just ate there for the first time last night after it reopened. The service was horrible. I ordered a wrap with French Frys. My husband ordered a steak. When I got my food the frys were cold and the cook didn't make my wrap correct. I addressed it to the waitress and she did nothing about it. My husband said the steak tasted horrible and he didn't get his salad until way after his steak came. We had to ask several times for our drinks. Finally, I went up to the bar and got them myself. I have never ate at such a place with such bad service. Therefore, we will not be going back there.

I just returned from the Log Cabin. I am very pissed right now. I had a nice view and a nice evening with my husband until I ask for my food to go. The server took the remains of both of our dinners (on 1 plate) back and didn't bring it back right away. I ask her about it when she finally returned and she said it would be fine. Well it wasn't. Someone threw it away. Which meant my BROILED walleye, my UNTOUCHED baked potato , my husband cod and fries were gone. She gave us fried walleye and nothing else. The baked potato were going to be with eggs for my husbands breakfast. And the broiled walleve would be my lunch. I paid for the potato, the broiled walleye and the perch and now I have nothing. I will not go back. The service was marginal at best. Her husband was one of the cooks. This experience has ruined what was a very nice evening. Again I will Never go back.
