Best soul food in town! Great atmosphere, respectful employees...it’s a great vibe! Whether you choose to eat the buffet or order from the menu, there’s always something good there! The pink lemonade is everything!!! The Big D burger is a must have and the Phily Chicken PoBoy is mouth watering goodness! If you’re ever in Crystal Springs, MS...stop by...your stomach will thank you!

My family really love this restaurant. My husband said if he's going to eat soul food in a restaurant it must be at Big D's. This place has a nice atmosphere. The owner is friendly and the workers are nice too. Its always nice and clean.

I went to this place while visiting some distant relatives, and I stopped off at this little joint for a quick bite. I'll keep it short, but oh my gosh this was the best dining experience I've had in a long time. The food was pretty good, but that bus boy really got to workin' hard for that dollar! I saw him there working harder than any bus boy that I've ever seen in my experience (I've had A LOT of jobs in food service). I called him over to tell him what a good lil' worker he was, and he was just the nicest kid you could ever hope to meet. Any time I return to good ol' Mississippi, and catch a need for some food, I'll be thinking Mr. D's!
