First of all let me say that the food was okay/good.
The down side.
Last night we had a happy birthday dinner for our friend, there were 5 couples. Three of the couples have had meals at Fillippo several times each and recommended that we might try there. We called and were told that there wasn't any problem seating 5 couples so we made early reservations for 5:30. When the day arrived we were there on time and seated.
Here's the kicker. Before everyone even had their menus the waiter said "you need to order right away so we can get your meals prepared because we need to seat another party at 7:30." No I'm sorry or apology what so ever. We should have walked out at that point.
We felt rushed through the entire meal, so much so that we couldn't order coffee or desert. We decided to have coffee elsewhere but were not happy about it.
We paid the bill and tipped the waiter which was about 7:00 to 7:10. As soon as that was done the waiter walked to the table and said " I don't want to be rude, you need to leave the table so we can set up for the next group" I replied "but you are". He just turned away with out a word. We got up from the table and started to leave. The waiter was standing near the entrance, I addressed him and said that he was rude and not a way to treat customers. His reply was in a rude and abrupt tone "I have a business to run". I replied back I'll note that in my review, and I started to go down the stairs. He called after me "I don't care about your review we have enough good ones." Followed by "I'm insulted, leave MY restaurant and never come back"
My tone was low just for him to hear, his wasn't.
He is getting his wish, the 3 couples that have gone there said they would not go back and the other couple and myself will not either.
Already I have told 2 people when asked "don't bother.

Went to this supposedly "fine" establishment for a nice Pre-Christmas family dinner. Upon arrival and climbing a bunch of steps we arrived at what appeared to be someone's well decorated apartment. Service at first was immediate, however, the place was almost empty. After my dining experience I see why it was so empty. Two of us ordered Chicken Francese. When the meals were served we received two plump raw chicken breasts in a watered down lemon butter sauce. The waiter did not come back to the table till others in our party were thru eating their meals. The waiter realized it was too late to replace the poorly prepared chicken dinners and offered to take one of the two meals off the check. We explained that both meals were raw. The check then came almost immediately after with both meals removed from the bill. We were not offered dessert and were further advised that the owner stated we were not welcome to stay or come back ever again. NOT TOO WORRY. Highly recommend to go somewhere else, even McDonald's

Unbelievable food, family run business seem a little short handed on the service but worth the wait or the faults.
