Eat here every time I visit PEI. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Fish is amazing and fries are served hot :) Staff is super friendly. I reccomend Gateway Lobster Shop to all of my friends and family travelling to PEI :) See you in the spring!

We recently stopped to eat at this restaurant and we ordered the seafood chowder. Well, it was more like potato chowder. What we did find was a "few" pieces about the size of a match head. It was so salty and was not rich and creamy as advertised. The most worst,expensive potato chowder I have ever had.I didn't eat mine and my husband ate half, only because he was hungry. My husband asked for crackers and was told they didn't have any left. The rolls came on one plate so we shared the plate.We will never go back to this restaurant again and we have told everyone we know about our experience. This restaurant is a black eye for PEI. This restaurant would definitely turn tourists away.
