Phoenix Village has been my favorite Chinese buffet for many, many years.Prior to today, I had never had a bad experience there.
My favorite menu item has always been the Egg Flower soup. Elegant in it's simplicity it consisted of an egg broth with a sprinkle of peas and carrots and onions so clear and tiny you hardly knew they were there.
In 17 years I never once heard anyone say anything bad about that soup. It had a reputation as "Chinese penicillin" in the neighborhood and very often I would make a meal of it and their crab puffs.
I'm sorry to say that soup is no more. Someone decided to add great big chunks of undercooked onions and mushrooms and something awful, maybe lemon juice to the soup. It's now very bitter and resembles something the cat left on the floor.
I called to complain and the lady who answered the phone hung up on me when I said I needed to return for a refund.
I'm assuming it was the same lady at the register when I arrived. She said "You don't like mushrooms?" when I answered that the whole soup was a mess, she just gave me my money back and walked away. Not one word of explanation or at least an apology.
Goodbye, Phoenix Village. It's been a nice ride, but I won't tolerate that level of poor customer service

I have been eating at this restaurant for over 5 years and have had nothing but excellent, fast, friendly service!!! The food has always been excellent and hot. The prices are great!!! The delivery is QUICK!!!! Nothing but love for these guys!!!!!!!

A group of us went there for the first time, as we walked in we were greeted right away. the gentleman behind the counter asked us if we wanted the buffet or order off their menu and that tonight was their seafood night. They had crab legs, mussels, cocktail shrimp, orange chicken and alot of other goodies on the buffet so we opt for the buffet. The place was very clean, we saw they only had 2 waitress and their were pack that night and our waitress was very attentive and cleared off our empty plates and refilled our drinks and they actually smiled and talked with us for a minute or so. I give this restaurant an 9 out of 10 just only because they dont have Ice Cream but everyone was friendly and very attentive from the cashier to their waitstaff

Charged my card for the meal...and also charged me for the last 4 did gits of my card.....I called and they denied everything...Contacting Better Business Bureau...RUDE and CRUDE....Don't go.....
