Bar management is awful... I saw the male manager several times actually mocking fun and mocking several customers while he was drinking. As a person who works in the restaurant industry.

Wanted to balance out the obvious attempts of competitor sabotage. Reviews are fine, but VERY suspicious when the reviewer suggests, by name, that people go to another establishment on the same block.

My one huge gripe about this place is the awful male bartender. I have never been treated so poorly at a bar before in my life. When I finally got his attention he was a complete dick to me and made me feel like I was bothering him. I ordered a landshark and asked for a lime he grabbed a lemon. I asked for limes and he told me, "I've been doing this a long time, I know what a lime is." ... Well clearly you don't because you gave me lemons jackass. Go to Ron Jons Or Smokehouse this guy is a complete tool.

NEVER WILL EAT AT MAGOO'S AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! We have been eating there for over 3 years but not anymore, the service is awful and everyone that works there is white trash. They won't even give you take out boxes for food you paid for. DO EAT THERE!!!!

Not good! Bad service...mess up your orders, yes plural on that one, and they take forever unless under some miraculous circumstance you can get someone's attention. Definitely go to Boat House! They have amazing service and being a local, I would highly reccomend going there instead. You'd get your money's worth at least.

This is one of those places where they ask as you hand them the $20.00 bill for a $12.00 bar tab...

Seriously, I am a native, but never bothered going here. When I DID go, I got lousy service, had to ASK for my $8.00 in change, and I was one of only three people in the place.
A MUCH BETTER place is Ron Jon's, which is maybe 100' away, in the same plaza.
Skip this dump. Go to Ron-Jon's.

Food is good, location is fine, smoke is thick enough that you have trouble seeing the TV's. Worst part is the male bartenders. If you don't have a huge pair of breasts hangiing on the bar, don't expect to get any service. Evidently they are relatives of the owners, no other reason that they still be working there. So if you like a smokey, rude bar with decent food - this is your place.
