Always great seafood and prompt service. Best fried clams and onion rings in the region.

Have eaten here a few times over the years, and once again, I was disappointed. I had the seafood platter and found the clams tiny, with both the clams and scallops too few and overcooked. The coating on the baby shrimp was falling off and the fish was no bigger than 4-5 inches. Also, the onion rings were limp. For over $20, I expected more and better.

Way way too greasy. Only able to finish half basket, the rest of the food was swimming in grease. Noe thanks - won't be going back there again.

My husband and I were on a business trip in Mass the third week in March of 2010. I told my husband I could not leave the area without having a lobster roll. We asked some locals for the best place to go and without hesitation the "Lobster Boat" was the one recommended. All I can say is...I took one bit and wanted to take a later flight to have another. My husband said that the chowder was perfect; the best has had. I can't wait to go back. One time and they had me hooked.

If you are in town the lobster boat is not the one to miss, it is a family restaurant and has a great seafood, but I go for the Lobster you pick from a live tank the size you want, the price is right.

This restaurant had been a favorite until they started using instant mashed potatoes and a ketchup holder for cole slaw. Formerly one of the best places for a fish dinner, Lobster Boad has started to go downhill. Too bad, as the competition has become increasingly more creative.

The Lobster Boat in Merrimack, NH is great. We have always been pleased with the portions and the prices. The staff is great, nice personalities.
