The ownership never changed here. The general manager was let go. This was over 2 1/2 years ago. It is sad when certin people like to write reviews just to be a jerk because they dont like someone. im sure you never even have eating at Saffron Tommy. this bistro continues to impress, and keep winning awards year after year. Keep up the good work guys. Still the best in town.

This place use to be a great gem for the city of Nashua. Now with the new ownership it's a huge disappointment!! Food is inconsistent and staff are below sub par. Ownership needs to take a close look and maybe remove themselves from the operation. This place use to be a hero, now there a zero.

This amazing bistro just hits all the right notes. The drinks, service, and the food is some of the best we have had anywhere in the country. Please take my advice and give this place a shot. You will leave full, and happy. Can't wait to go back.

I have been to this bistro quite a few times over the past 3 years. Mist say that the service, the food and the decor have taken a huge step backwards! On our most recent visit the waitstaff seemed to have forgotten about us or were more worried about other tables even though there were only 4 other tables in the bistro. Decor was very cheesy!!!! Not at all the caliber the bistro was on my last visit. The establishment reminds me of unums where nobody knows what they are doing! My advice, good luck.

Me and my 4 friends came in for dinner this past week, and could not stop talking about this place. From the way we were greeted to the service and most important the food. This small chef owned bistro is so amazing i would hope that if you are reading this you have already gone or about to go. seriously check it out they dont dissapoint here at Saffron Bistro. Thanks for a great night out.

review_stars 09/22/2010 - great eaters
We eat out all the time. I must say this was one of the best meals we ever had. Not only was the service stellar, but the food was so spot on. The chef was talking to another table while we were about to leave, and as he was walking bye, he asked us how everything was, and we could not help but tell him how amazing it was. this small bistro is chef owned and run so well by this young man. we would recommend it to anyone who would want to have a great night out. You won't be disappointed, seriously check this place out, it will impress.

review_stars 09/17/2009 - first time
When you hear good things about a place you usually try it out. most time you have mixed reviews, this time our mind was blown with joy when we had dinner and drinks here. This place is so good and resonable priced. It was so good that when we finished our meal we went into the bar area and stayed for two more hours and watched the sox game, while haveing a great conversation with the bartender. Its nice to go somewhere where you feel welcomed and important and the saffron bistro is that place check it out and you may never want to leave.

review_stars 05/13/2009 - chef from out of town
They did it right here at saffron, i was very pleased from the time i walked in till my last course. It is hard for me to give a lot of compliments, seeing im a chef as well. im very picky when it comes to my food. This place deserves a place at the top. everything thing i had was top notch, you would have thought you were in boston or nyc.. thanks saffron again for making this a great deserved night out for me...

review_stars 03/09/2009 - first ime for a special dinner
A few friends and I went to the saffron bistro for a game dinner this evening and it was out of this world. The staff and owners really know what there doing here, the food was outstanding and it is alot different from the normal menu. This bistro has special wine dinners and events like this every month or so and i've been to a wine dinner as well, let me tell you, this place would give NYC restaurants a run for their money.

We went to Saffron's for the first time on Valentine's Day and it was a pleasure. The staff is very attentive and it feels like we finally have a real upscale dining experience in Nashua! The food was delicious and the portions were huge! We expected great food but in small bite size/gourmet portions...but we were stuffed! It was wonderful...we want to go back for their upcoming Game Dinner but unfortunately we already have plans that night,

My wife and I saw the tv diner episode a few weeks ago and billy costa couldn't have been more right....
This bistro was everything it was hyped up to be, our food was platium plate quality as well as a flawless waitstaff. This year and a half old restaurant has all the qualities a diner is looking for. If you need a place to go for dinner for a special occation or just to get a great bite please don't leave this bistro out, you will be happy with your choice. Will be back soon.

The food was great ; however after arriving on time for a confirmed reservation I was asked to wait in the lounge (the restaurant was 1/2 empty). After 15 miin wait and still no table we went to inquire if there was a problem . Finally being led to a table had to wait again for waiter to approach table. No apologies from wait staff or manager. What could have been a very nice evening was ruined by the inattentivenss of the staff. I certainly hope this was an off evening and not the norm for this establishment

What a delightful dining experience!!! I took my significant other for dinner and to celebrate his birthday. We had been talking about going for sometime. I'm sorry we didn't go sooner. We will definitely be back and will share our great evening with all our friends. Thank you Ben for the great advice about the wine you chose for us and letting us sit and chat without feeling rushed. We had a wonderful evening.

Excellent quality ingedients, preparation and presentation. Reasonable portion sizes and creative menu. A bit noisy on busy nights. Over all a fave.

This hip new bistro had it all can't wait till we come back for christmas, we already made a reservation, just like you should.

Hello fellow foodees,
I have dined at the Saffron Bistro several times over the past few months and I'd like to say that it has been a pleasure to have new upscale dining in downtown Nashua. I have dined in the bar and in the dining room and both have been positive experiences. The decor in the dining room is very classy and warm, and the bar is very modern and sharp. The staff is knowledgeable and personable when it comes to any questions or suggestions. You dont find that everywhere. I was particularly impressed with thier knowlegde of the wine list and its pairings to the items on the menu. I recommend the lamb, which is masterfully plated and properly portioned. In all of my visits the food has looked as good as it tastes. I am partial to an assortment of high end menu ideas and flavors, and Saffron absolutely sets the bar for fine dining in the downtown area. Try it and you wont be dissapointed. Happy dining!!

A late Thursday evening at the end of August turned into refreshing experience when we decided to meet friends at Saffrons. Cocktails at the bar and then we changed plans and dined in. It turned out to be the right decision. Will be back next time were up in Nashua. Great atmosphere and food.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! Every aspect was perfect. I ate food I have never had before, and loved it. I'm anxious to go back. The menu is very creative and the food is different. The service was wonderful and the servers were very attentive. Very relaxing evening, we could actually hear ouselves talk, which is hard to do in some restaurants. We'll definately return with clients and friends.

This is my second visit to Saffron Bistro, and I loved it more the second time around. I can't believe the Chef has already made changes to the menu. On my first visit I had the Cod, which was wonderful, and was planning on it again. Much to my surprise, they did not have the Cod, but Chilian Sea Bass!!!! My absolute favorite fish, which is not served anywhere else in Nashua, usually go to Boston for that. Saffron Bistro is truly a new Gem for Downtown Nashua.

My husband and I were driving through New Hampshire while on business. Knowing that we are "foodies" from New York City, a local friend had told us to dine at Saffron Bistro. What a surprise and a treat! The ambience was sophisticated, the presentation and taste of the food was delicious and the service was just right. The next time we are driving through, we will surely make time to stop by this elegant little delight again.

The food and atmosphere is the best around! I had the cod which was fantastic. The chef is very creative and puts out a great spread.

I heard great reviews from co-workers in Cambridge and just had to try this restaurant. Saffron has to be Nashua's and/or Southern New Hampshire's finest and most elegant restaurant! First class service and unbelievable food. Food presentation is beautiful and exciting. My favorite restaurant has been L'Espalier in Boston and now I must say that Saffron Bistro is right beside them!
