I LOOVVE LA CARRETA. ANYTIME MY BF AND I DECIDE WE ARE GOING OUT TO EAT...WE ALWAYS CHOOSE LA CARRETA. FOOD IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS AND LAUREN MIXES UP A MEAN MARGARITA!!! STAFF IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS STOPS AND CHIT CHATS. MY FAV MEAL IS POLLO RANCHERO AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!! BUT YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH WHAT EVER YOU ORDER!! SO IF YOU WANT GREAT FOOD, FUN ATMOSPHERE AND A FIESTA...HEAD DOWN TO LA CARRETA!! AAARIIIIBA!!!

Being a Mexican myself, I must say this restaurant offers the most authentic Mexican food I've ever tried in America. My expectations were high and the place didn't disappoint me at all. The place was packed and that is a reflection of the freshness of the food as well as of the professionalism of the staff (i.e. the cooks and the waiters).
I definitively recommend this place.

I love this place. I'm having my 21st birthday party here next month. I haven't tried a lot of their food but their tamales are awesome and their before-the-meal nachos w/ salsa are the best around! They make it there, and we love it so much that we have taken small tubs of it home for ourselves. Although I was a little disappointed about their burritos. I've had a m a z i n g genuine burritos when I went to El Paso once and so when I tried La Carreta's burritos I was a little confused as to why it did not taste as great as ones I've had before- burritos are even better at Shorty's (although Shorty's in Nashua is going downhill a little now). But over all, La Carreta is a great genuine Mexican restaurant.

If you love Mexican food, but don't have the time or inclination to go to Mexico, you will not be disappointed with the tasty offerings at Carreta. Everythings has the freshness ,of just prepard food. And you might luck out and even get tp listen to live Mariachi while you dine.

I just can't get over how good/addicting and tasty their food is. Service is wicked quick too and the wait staff is super nice. Hands DOWN best mexican place in southern NH!!!

BEST Mexican food I ever ate, and I love mexican food! BEST Prices! 1 plate feeds 1 to 2 people(depending how hungry you are)! or you can have leftover for dinner or lunch the next day. This is the only place I will ever eat mexican food from. No other place could be better!

Have been here a few times in the last couple of years. Has the best atmosphere and always fast and freindly service. Unfortunatly on our last visit, we really noticed the portions being smaller and weak ice filled Margarita's.
Their Bowl Chile is terrible, its a salty gravy with tough fatty meat in it, but most everything else we have tried was good.

Growing up in So. California, I was raised on real Mexican food -- La Carreta is the real deal. If there's a more authentic Mexican restaurant in the greater Boston area, I've yet to find it and god knows for years I tried ... until I stumbled on this unassuming store front in a shopping strip surrounded by car dealerships. If you want Mexican, you can't go wrong at La Carreta.

A very good Mexican Restaurant. The variety is great and the food has never dissapointed. A great value as well. Can't go wrong with this one!

Not just the best Mexican restaurant in Nashua, but the best Mexican restaurant I have been to anywhere including Mexico - well, except for maybe one in San Diego Old Town.
Their mole/poblano and brown tomatillo salsa are superb, as well as their regular red salsa and chips.
Only downside is that because they are so good that they're usually quite full and parking can be tricky.

We love this place for lunch. I've only been there once for dinner (and they make an excellent Cabo Wabo margarita if you don't mind spending around $10). Lunch is a wonderful value. Great food at unbelievably reasonable prices. The service is always super fast (they are successful at turning those tables) and friendly. Some of the best chips and salsa I've ever had. I highly recommend.

Not the best Mexican in Nashua, definitely but a good deal and a decent meal.
