This is the best Chinese I have had in the area, and the menu of tasty dishes is extensive, however, last night I purposely ordered too much so we could take it home to reheat the next day. The waitress brought out two boxes and just dumped the left overs in a big heap in the box which is extremely unappetizing. If I had known she was going to do that, I would have asked her to leave the boxes and I would switch the food myself. Also, while I do appreciate the attentive service, I am put off by the owner coming around (3 TIMES IN ABOUT 45 MINUTES!) constantly to ask if everything is okay. Staff in restaurants seem to wait until your mouth is full of food and come ask that, and they often interrupt the diner's conversations to ask if the food is okay anymore. Staff can be around and available and if the diner has a problem, they can let the staff know. Constant unnecessary interruptions are instrusive.

Another couple, my wife and I go there, on average, once a week. Never had a bad meal, seriously. Service is above average, always. There are plenty of restaurants here in Tahoe and down at Carson City, some closer, but we choose to go to Beijing Palace for the excellent food, super service and moderate menu prices. We highly recommend it. Sounds like we work for the place, but we don't.
