Though the food was great and worth going to this place to eat.
I never received a check and there were no prices on the items ordered. Make sure you get a check before paying the owner stole $20.00 from me. First he said it was 64. and I gave him 3 20's and 10 1' for tip he then gave me back my money because he said I was short he gave me back 2 20's and the ones I had given him. Then he said it was 54.00 and then changed the price again to 44.00. I am a passive person and did not confront him about the 20. that he had stollen. Again make sure you get a check that is itemized.

Cafe Artiste is the best restaurant in Spring Lake ! We ride on our bikes from Asbury Park to enjoy the fresh tasty food. It is like being in Italy talking to Cosmo and his family. Always the best ingredients and so much food you have to take a doggie bag ! We love it !

This is the best little restaurant is all of spring lake and the surrounding towns. Absolutely delicious food and always cooked fresh.
