I used to drive down to Midway from Rutherford just to indulge in a delicious sausage and peppers sandwich. Despite moving away from New Jersey in 1987 and trying various eateries, I've never forgotten the exceptional taste of Midway's sausage and peppers - truly unmatched. The combination of perfect sausage and peppers on amazing bread, along with the friendly atmosphere, made it one of the best food experiences of my life, and I deeply miss it.

i have been going to midway steak house since the 60's. every year it seems to go down a notch. average would be the way to describe there food now.asked if they could cook my peppers and onions well done and they said they couldn't put them back on the grill (WTF). it would also help if they would hire some employees that speak english.
