Unfortunately, the Dodge Inn Restaurant has been closed for many years. It was in the Porpora Family for over 70 years but was sold several times before going out of business. Frank A. Porpora retired to Tucson, Arizona and will be back in Rock Hill to celebrate his 90th birthday at the family reunion in September, 2011. I am a Porpora cousin and I worked my way through college working summers as a waitress at the Dodge Inn. Uncle Frank always told us kids "you'll remember your days at the Dodge Inn as the best years of your youth". Boy, was he right! We made lasting friendships,worked hard and had tons of fun. Wish I could go back to those carefree days!

Haven't been there in forty years. Are they still serving the fantastic family style steak dinners? Same family stilling running the restaurant?
