Breakfast horror story
First time here, just inside door is 50 pound bags of potatoes on floor, mice, anyone?d
Diirty coats and dishelved crap all over entryway.

No greetings, do we sit or wait is now the question.

Told to sit in a booth, finally.
Get to booth, another couple take it.
Ok...sit at counter, no way to distance.
Soo not good, floor is to filthy to consider putting my purse there.
Grill directly in front of us, with a 60ish grey haired man flipping eggs and bacon etc.
So we watch. And the division to eat there becomes a distinct feel of bile rising in my throat.

This cook was picking up raw bacon for the griddle with bare hands, put cooked bacon with bare hands on plates, so, you have now- raw touches cooked food to plates repeatedly then he goes behind him to cash out customers handled money coin and paper. With Bare bacon-y
hands, ..AND ...back too cooking. Handling food, no wash up, nothing.SIDE OF FOOD POISONING AND COVID ANYONE?

We ordered omlettes with no potatoes, 10 dollars for omelette, said no potatoes in ours. Got them anyway . 10.00 each , no coffee.

All the waitress ladies all had masks below nose, With some goofy mouth shield on that did nothing,
As did the dirty cook

Food took approximately 50 minutes to arrive while I looked at the windows we finally got a booth next to, the filth was unbelievable in every window. Ceiling vents collapse evident and decor that came with the place 50 years ago fermenting who know what. .

The waitress was picking up napkins and crap off floor ..continues on with plates...picking up her tips, then handling plates lady at counter with a bib on....just the worse filthy, unhygienic place I have ever been to. Omlettes were not that great, plain cellophane type sliced style cheese, , I would not touch the water glass.

One waitress was talking to another regarding covid and how ....that was the SICKEST SHE HAD EVER BEEN...
And now, she is required to wear a mask instead of those plastic mouth guards. Except she took her mask down to talk, and she was behind the counter, and waiting on people. , why did we stay? To document this and do a review.
Disgusting as hell

i must say that if home cooking is what you are looking for try this place I go there at least once a day. Breakfast is what ever you want eggs any style and fresh muffins m. Then there is lunch they have soup every day and the Triple Decker sandwich is the best My son says that Bob makes the best cheese burger in the area and he should know as that is all he eats. Try and catch the stuffed peppers they are great as well
