Nice little family owned and oriented restaurant. Everything I've had there has been excellent! Never knew a chili dog with mustard and a spicy meat chili was actually called a "Michigan"! (As they say, you can learn something new every day!) They also make great cheeseburgers with crisp lettuce and garden ripe tomatoes. The homemade strawberry/rhubarb pie has to be experienced to be believed! If I'm ever back this way again, I'll make it a point to visit them!

Never judge by the outside! Love the homemade food, soups, desserts, bread, everything!! We drive from Lake Placid often just to eat here. Never had a bad meal yet!....good service, clean, and wonderful, delicious food!! Great homemade fries and one lunch favorite is the grilled cheese with bacon, to die for!!.......you won't regret stopping here!

Inside decor is right out of the 50's although I would dump all the black! But if it's not looks but just plain old good homemade food you crave STOP HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..excellent sandwiches, soups, desserts, never had anything I didn't like. Quiet and nice, many locals stop here and chat, but that makes it more homey. Good service, clean inside, and I love to make the drive from North Elba just to eat here. Worth it and very inexpensive for the quantity and quality of food you get!......wife would like to paint it inside though!! lol....but darn delicious food!! If you are at Ausable Chasm, go here to eat before or after!
