I love having the diner back in business in our village. Everyone there is so friendly. Their ice cream is amazing!

Have had breakfast there several times and was very good but today Jan 31 went for a girls lunch had Mac & cheese and it was the worst ever. If I go again it will be strictly a brwakfast

My husband and I went for breakfast at the Unadilla Diner this weekend. We used to go to the old one quite often so were happy to see it open again. The food was very good. The atmosphere in the front where the counter is is very comfortable and very small-town diner. However, the large room where the ice cream shop used to be (where we sat) needs some personality added. The walls are bare except for one picture and there were no plants save for the silk flowers on the window sills. There's a big "Gifford's Ice Cream" freezer that could be removed for a couple of extra tables. If it's meant to be "ornamental" it's not working. While we enjoyed the meal and our waitress was very good, we kind of felt like we were eating in the school cafeteria. Just some prints on the walls and a few plants here and there would make a world of difference in the "feel" of the experience.
