Food is good and value priced. Try the Reuben.

Best gyro in the country. The fries are amazing. I eat here every day when I am in town.

I went to get takeout and after a rude encounter with the owner I walked out. He was arrogant and insulting about the use of masks which none of his employees in the kitchen nor he were wearing. It's a shame that he can't comply to the rules put in place by our state.

A few tries and it’s just average at best ........... The shtick is the same as the original and has not aged well . Wish I could say it’s worth a visit but really just take a hard pass . Gyro is flavorless , onion rings were flavorless , shrimp basket were tiny little limp shrimp . Fries were redeemable but not special .

I’m a resident of Highlands and was looking forward to trying them out. They were overwhelmed and having a very difficult time fulfilling orders. They never washed their hands and I saw the server/order taker dig in the trash looking for orders they messed up. He never washed his hands. After waiting for 35 minutes, my elderly father in law walked up to hopefully ask about his order. Don, who was cooking, walked up to the window and told my father in law to sit down because he was making him nervous. Never been treated as badly by anyone in my life. By the way, the food was worse than the experience. Don is a rude, insecure, & incapable business owner. I suspect he was ran out of Highlands during his first try and was certainly not able to make it in Texas.

We had to wait in line a bit but they had just opened for business and Everyone wanted to eat there. We had 9 orders and they were filled pretty quickly for having our food prepared As we ordered and not sitting there under a heat lamp. We all had something different to try and Everything was amazing. The Reuben was melt in your mouth delicious, Burger was well done and Juicy, Philly steak was seasoned well and plenty of onions and peppers. Wings were Crispy, lots of sauce. The Italian Sausage was Amazing on a Ciabatta roll. Will definitely be eating here again and again!

They need to figure out how to take an order. I stood in line (with 4 customers ahead of me) and after 30 minutes, I left without even having a chance to place my order. Also, a person delivering food as well as people in the kitchen were not wearing masks.

Don Leon’s looks delicious but no one wears a mask...will have to wait til it’s safer!
