The Hampton Inn personnel recommended a local restaurant known for its delicious country cooking, and they were right. I enjoyed a satisfying meal of okra, pinto beans, corn, greens, salad, and sweet tea, all served hot and promptly. The food was excellent, and the service from Karen, our server, was outstanding; I'll definitely return when I'm back in Mt. Airy.

This is the BEST place.. simple decor but the best Rueben sandwich!! I try them everywhere! And Greek traditional Gyro! Just like Chicago!!

I can't understand how anyone could find fault with the service or waitstaff. My husband and I have eaten at the Olympia many, many, times over the years. At least once a week. People of different races have worked there and been customers, and I've never, ever seen, even once, any of the workers not treat everyone the same. They are all friendly, kind, and respectful, to EVERYONE who enters the restaurant. And on top of that, the service is great. Don't hesitate to try out this friendly local eatery. It is busy most of the time, and that should tell you something!

It was great when Dale owned it! Once the new owners took over, they began acting and talking racist and didn’t hide it! I stopped going there! I don’t pay to be mistreated! I can get that for free!

French fries not good, neither of us could eat them. Service was horrible and we will not be going back. Do not recommend.

We have ordered takeout 3 times now from Olympia and ordered something different every time. We have been completely satisfied with everything we’ve tried. The food is delicious and is prepared with love. This is our new go to restaurant!
