Never been disappointed here! Their country fried steak with white gravy is awesome. Great staff too.

Took a Sunday drive to see if we could find it, We did, and stopped for Sunday dinner. We had great fun, Everyone was so nice. The wait staff was wonderful. Best country ham I have eaten in N.C. Being from Virginia where we have some of the best ham in the world, I have never had good country ham in N.C. until today. The restaurant was very clean considering the huge crowd for Sunday. Today's special Was Pot Roast - delish. We will return again and again to this crossroad. Thanks for a special afternoon.

Great food, great taste. Excellent menu. The best in service. We take the grand kids several times a week. They love the chicken, pot roast, meat loaf and all other selects

Battle Branch Cafe has the best fresh homecooking around - entrees, vegetables, and desserts..Very little - if anything, comes out of a can, and there are healthy choices. You can't beat the price, or the friendly waitresses or hospitality of the owner. They may run out of theiir "specials" for the night if you get there late, so it's best to get there early if you want one of the featured entrees...Otherwise, they have plenty of other delicious meals to choose from....This gets my vote for probably the best "feel good" grandma kind of cooking around........
