Save your money and your health!
Upon arriving there was no signage that indicated that we had in fact arrived at the Turkey Burger. We looked up the address on Google maps to confirm, then went inside.
The booth was nothing but hard wooden benches, and by the end of the meal our behinds hurt along with our stomachs. We were seated promptly and the waitress was pleasant but then came the food.
We arrived around lunch time and came hungry and ready to chow down. After talking about it for months, we decided to make the drive out to try it out. We had heard that the portions were huge and people have said good things about the place . We ordered a few appetizers and two main dishes thinking we could always take hone left overs.
We ordered two milkshakes, an order of deep fried clams and the “Turkey burger poutine” to start. The milkshakes were thick and were the only good part of whole experience. The menu has no descriptions of the dishes.
Thinking the poutine would have Turkey on it, we were disappointed to find that it was simply what seemed like stovetop stuffing, on top of fries, gravy and processed shredded cheese in a small bowl. That was $8.95.
The clams were a generous serving but came with 4 packaged tartare sauce thrown on the plate and were soggy, greasy and tasted off. I stopped eating them because they made me feel ill.
My partner ordered the Turkey burger deluxe, fries, coleslaw and a Turkey burger with dry Turkey chunks on what appeared to be a Ben’s bun, that same stovetop like stuffing and canned gelatinous cranberry sauce, with gravy haphazardly slopped on top .. making the bun super soggy, and again the Turkey was dry. Perhaps the gravy should’ve been put on the Turkey?
I ordered the Chicken Fajita with a side order of fries. The toppings came out first on a plate with a small bowl of fries. The toppings were a few banana peppers, two green olives sliced up, a bit of sour cream, super watery salsa and highly processed cheese in four tiny plastic cups. Super skimpy portions. On the side was three of the smallest tortillas I have ever seen in my life. They were children sized.
Then out came the skillet with my “fajita” fillings. We could smell something off right away. The mixture of peppers, onions, chicken and I’m not sure what else. It was both mushy and burnt. The skillet was sizzling and burning while it sat on the table. It smelt terrible and before I could finish my first wrap, the food was burnt and inedible. I regret not taking pictures.
All in all, we will not be returning. We felt ill afterwards, the food was terrible and the meal cost almost $100.
Our waitress was lovely and prompt. The service was fine however the food was shameful.
How this place has the reputation it does is an indicator of what little food standards people in our area have, we are beyond disappointed by how bad the food was. The owners should not be in the food industry without serious upgrades to the menu and quality of what they are serving.
We not not be back or be recommending the Turkey Burger.

Stopped for lunch and had the cheeseburger and fries. Everything was delicious! The staff was friendly and we got our food fast. That was a fantastic burger and the fries and coleslaw were perfect. Will get the fish and chips next time.😊
