I have always enjoyed the food and the staff. One time my hamburger came out over cooked but one time out of many isn't bad. Every restaurant has an occasional off day.
Good food , good service!

This used to be one our favorites . Now I won't be eating in Freeport, some of the worst food I have had i.e. Reheated potatoes, chicken dark meat leg, theigh cooked till the chicken would not know what it was.but cole slaw was good. Payed 18.00 dollars for two of these so called meals.

Always clean, staff is always friendly. The food is very good and the prices are low. You absolutely must try the pie. They have a wide selection of the best pies in Ohio. Do not believe these negative reviews.

We have been to this restaurant many times and i have enjoyed every visit . We always try to find those smaller hometown restaurants when we travel. They have the best foods and nicest people. So it's not the Olive Garden or Some fancy restaurant but i would take a good hometown restaurant anyday.

Steve has the very best roast beef.I hope it does not change since he has passed away.We will miss him.

Breakast was poor.
Eggs over easy came over hard
Ham was mostly fat.
Hash Browns were not done.
Coffee was OK
Owner sat by the sit down counter BS'ing with his friends, not even asking how the food was.
Waitress was excellent. She can't help the quality of food coming out of the kitchen.

Have had Rib, fish, Chicken, shrimp dinners, all was very good, especially the homemade rolls..I don't know why someone would say the place is not clean, it is everytime I go there.

Disgusting dirty restaurant with friendly waitresses. The carpet is filthy. If they don't have enough respect for their customers to clean or replace the carpet, then what does the kitchen look like?
The prime rib during hinting seasonis not too bad for $9.99, but the place needs to be inspected by the health department. They need a visit by chef Ramsay.There are no other restaurants around, but I hear the service station close by has good pizza and doughnuts!
