My #1 favorite place to eat! Try the chicken enchilada something about the sauce and cheese that it is smothered in! No joke it would even be good cold that's how great it is! The bean dip and chips is like nowhere else I've ever eaten! Great waitress' and Margaritas!

I know someone who is a busser at el bees, and they have told me multiple times that the boss or owner per say of el bees, Bob Hall, constantly cusses him out and his co workers. He insults them in any way possible when he believes they are being “lazy” or “stupid”. He often uses the words stupid, idiot, lazy, and sensitive, to describe his workers. Personally, I don’t feel that the food matters if the waitresses and busses are treated the way they are by their boss.

I think you menu prices on line need updated or we got overcharged. I checked menupix, zmenu, yelp, singleplatform, and muniusm and they all has the same princes.
We ordered takeout for chips and salsa, $5.50, Chicken enchilada, not smothered $7.25 and deluxe nachos $8.50 and no drinks. Our bill was 32 and some change. My math is $21.25. It seem unbelievable taxes and surcharges are about $11. It would be nice if you had a website. On the upside it is great food but is getting just as expensive to go out for a nice sit down restaurant for dinner verses causal dinning.

The good:I got the chimichanga meal and thought it was very good. The meal included quac which was also very good, The portion was satisfying.
The bad:No complimentary chips are provided; what Mexican restaraunt does not provide chips. Chips can be purchased but come on, would a small basket be that bad for their bottom line. The quac would have been much better on a chip. The margarita was average to poor. Everyone's taste buds are different but mine stay asleep drinking these. I also thought they were over priced, $21 for a small pitcher that only filled four small glasses.

NOT helpful at all with food allergies. I called today to ask about different meals to get the ingredients and they seemed irritated that I called and were not willing to find out what ingredients were in different things. NOT HAPPY!!

I have been here since I was a little girl, and now as an adult I still absolutely love it. My personal favorite is the taco salad, it's very delicious. My son begs for the helado. El bees is one of my favorite restaurant ever, and that will never change. Their menu is great to suit everyone, even if you don't like mexican food!!!

My family and I ate here on 1/8/2010. It was my first trip to this restaurant. I was very impressed. I don't normally go along because I'm not a big fan of mexican food. Not only was the taco salad awesome, but they offer steak and burgers to keep everyone happy. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The new El Bee's is at the old Harrs restaurant in Waterloo. It's a great improvement to the old place. As always, the food is GREAT.

El Bees is the best Mexican food in the Omaha area you have to go to the one in Waterloo! I have lived on the east coast for years and traveled a few places and no place even comes close to this place. THeir portions are huge bu their prices are not. Awsome Margeritas and their homemade hot sace s killer. So if your craving good Mexican/American food this is the place to go!!!!

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE! I would have been happier eatting at Taco Bell and would have saved 25 dollars! The ground beef tasted like dirt, the rice and beans like a sweaty armpit and the salsa tasted like rotten watered=down pace picante sauce! We ate two bites and instanly became nauseated by the food.
