The food at the restaurant was incredibly delicious, and our group savored the chicken supreme, scallops with bacon, and risotto, all expertly prepared. The wine selection perfectly complemented the meal, and the service was prompt and friendly, making for a delightful dining experience.

This was our second time here. Far worse than the first time. Extremely inattentive staff. They all seemed very entitled and unenthusiastic. Not sure why you’d choose this profession if you didn’t like it.
Needless to say, we won’t be coming back for a third visit.

Came in for brunch after a wedding the night before at the same hotel. The dinner at the wedding was a buffet with some specialty items (specific cheeses and veggies). To my surprise the following day, those specialty items (which sat out for hours and were picked over by 100+ people) turned up on the brunch buffet!!! This is unbelievably disgusting, not only from a health standpoint, but from an economic perspective. I didn’t expect to pay top dollar for old (unfresh) food.
I will never step foot in this hotel again!

Stayed at this hotel last night. Went to the ‘Grille’ for dinner, and had the worst service I’ve ever had. The servers all acted like they were doing me a favor by serving me!
I hope they enjoyed the tip I left them… loose change..

Came in for brunch with my daughters. Service was very confusing. We basically got ‘assigned’ a table and were left to figure out things for ourselves. We had to ask, one of the many people serving, for coffee and juice. Another table told us, “I guess you just go up to the buffet and they only clear the plates”. We ended up doing just that. The clearing of our plates was a ridiculously slow process too. We just ended up ‘stacking’ them in the middle of the table. After finishing brunch we waited 20 minutes for our bill, which was dropped off by yet another server/busser we hadn’t seen yet.
This experience was beyond disappointing.

1st time back since Covid. I have to say I was surprised how poor the the service got in that time. I was told several of the veteran servers were let go during the pandemic. Now that it’s over the General Manager and the Operations Manager decided not to bring them back. Instead, they hired new inexperienced ‘younger’ servers. I guess you get what you pay for. Very disappointing..

Service was very sparse, very slow, and very unprofessional. I complained to a supervisor, an older woman named Lisa, and she acted oblivious to these issues. We weren’t generous when it came time to tip the server.
I found out while I was there that management had fired several servers during the Covid pandemic (good servers I might add) and refused to rehire them. In the aftermath, they clearly retained the bad ones, and have hurt their reputation for service.

Came in for brunch with my husband and kids. Haven’t been here in a few years. This visit wasn’t what I was expecting. Service was simply staff picking up empty plates, bowls, and glasses, and re-filling coffee. They certainly took their time doing this. The patrons could see the servers hanging out behind the Gunnery ballroom talking, texting, and eating!! By the time they cleared our plates there was a big stack in the center of the table. For the price we paid I was expecting much better service.

Came into the hotel the night before. The dinner was a buffet. The next morning (Sunday) we came into the Grille for the “city renouned” brunch.
A lot of the food items were clearly taken off the wedding buffet from Saturday! That food had been sitting out for hours. The cheese blocks were out all night, then found themselves out for the Sunday buffet. This was disgusting.
I’ll never step into this place again.

Restaurant service was super slow. Surprisingly there were only 2 other tables being occupied.
Not sure if the kitchen was understaffed, but for the price we were forced to pay, there should have been more staff cooking our food.
Not returning in the future.

Was staying in the hotel for business. Ate in the restaurant 3 times. Each time was a complete disappointment. Food came lukewarm each day, and the service was terribly slow. On the 3rd day I was waiting for the bill so long I just left. I went to the front desk to let them know I had left without paying because our waitress was nowhere to be found. I told them to put the charges on my bill.
On day 4 I grabbed breakfast at Starbucks instead. Surprisingly, when I checked my final bill, the restaurant charges weren’t even on there.
Whoever is running this hotel really needs to look at the quality of service being provided.

Stayed over a two day period for a conference. Had breakfast in the Grille. Ordered omlettes on first day. Wasn’t very appetizing. Was overdone and left under a heat lamp for some time. Took a very long time to get our bill. Waitstaff we’re very slow considering the restaurant was only a quarter full.
Very disappointing.

Was in town for a business trip and was staying at this hotel. I went to the Armouries Grill for breakfast. The service was so slow, by the time my food arrived it was cold and I had to leave. I told them I was not about to pay for this, and left for my meeting. When I got my bill 2 days later I found that the server did indeed charge the ‘cold’ breakfast to my room. I complained to the duty manager and he took it off my bill with some hesitation.
I will not be returning to this hotel ever again.

Stayed here this weekend. Tried their their “famous” Sunday Brunch. Everything seemed ok at first. A guest who was at the wedding the night before (same hotel), recognized some of the same food (cheeses mostly) that was on the wedding buffet!!! He even pointed out he carved his initials in a block of Colby jack and the same block was served up on the “famous Sunday Brunch buffet”!
This takes the award for grossest buffet in London.

Poor service and an incredible lack of interest from our server. She (her name was Lyssa) spent more time discussing some ‘drama’ with another staff member than serving us. We were within ‘earshot’ of the entire conversation and it was completely childish to be doing this in front of guests.

Not sure if this place is suffering from a lack of staff due to Covid or not, but the staff who are working seem to be completely unmotivated. Good service = higher tips. They are clearly not working for higher tips. The servers just don’t seem to care.

Came in for appetizers and drinks before the Knight’s hockey game. Was served by a man named Rob. Initially he was polite, but progressively got rude and combative when we asked for things…. Like another round, and the bill. He kept disappearing into the kitchen and stalling on the bill. After 15 minutes we went to the front desk and got the manager to retrieve our total. Within a minute after that ‘Rob’ brought us our bill at the front desk, no apology for his lack of tardiness. Needless to say we gave no tip and will not be coming back.

The service was quite slow. The ladies bathroom was disgusting!! You’d think a 4-diamond hotel would have staff checking the bathrooms. Not here. There was no toilet paper in 2 of the stalls, and water was leaking from a 3rd.

One word describes service here. Slow. I guess the staff assumes if you’re staying in the hotel, you’re therefore not in a hurry to get your food.
On a separate note - room service, which is run through the same department and personnel, was equally as slow. The only difference was the room service food was cold.

Food was basic. Service was very slow. The restaurant only had 2 tables that were occupied when we were there. Servers would disappear for 20 minutes, then return to tell us our food is almost ready. 20 more minutes later our meals arrived looking like they were under a heat lamp for an hour.
