Worst experience ever. Totally, rude and unapologetic.

We ordered two orders of chicken wings ($9 each), and my husband was charged $4 for a pick-up charge. I called because it seemed like an exorbitant fee (22%). The person who answered was unsure what the "pick-up" charge was. Then another (grouchy, bullying) person took the phone and said yes, you had two orders of wings, which was $4 dollars per the menu. I told her that I was looking online and the fee wasn't explained. So I asked what is the pick-up fee schedule and she said that per the menu, the fee was $2 for $10 or less, so $4 for $18. I asked, "So is there a max if I order more, or is the fee endless?" A person in the background said, "the fee is $2 up to 15%". The person on the phone said that she didn't have her glasses, but the fees were explained on the menu. Well, first of all, it's pathetic to charge a fee for pick-up, which requires no service on the part of the restaurant, second, the online menu states nothing about charges, third the staff member was incredibly rude and fourth, the max charge reported was 15% and yet we were charged over 22%. The staff obviously doesn't know or care what to charge, and the management shouldn't be charging anything for a to go order unless they want to admit the 22% cost increase. Ridiculous....

Although my dad and I have been coming here for years (together or separately) and have been mostly satisfied with the food and service, I have been frustrated that the prices have gone up over 20% in the last few years while the portions have definitely decreased.

My mom can't get out because of her health, so we have always planned to bring some of our food home or have picked her up something on our way home because of our schedule.

Recently, it has made me really sad to see my dad choose to not eat himself or to not stop to get my mom anything because of the increased price and/or the take out fees. I know costs have gone up on everything, but it seems like 20+ percent is a lot and adding a take out fee is just gross. That's just my opinion.

I go to Woods every other week. I walk in and before I sit down my diet drink is at the table.
The staff is very accommodating. I have seizure. If I ask for some one to touch me for a few seconds my seizures will slowly stop and not go into a large seizure. I one time asked for some one to touch me. I explained why I needed this and without any hesitation the woman touched my hand and I was able to finish my drink.
There food is great but there staff and management is the best.

Best place in town for a cold beer and juicy hamburger!
