The food is terrible. cheap hamburg buns for expensive "barbeque"
Hoagie buns are so wimpy limp, like a large hotdog bun. Tomatoes are shredded instead of sliced.

AND be sure to COUNT YOUR CHANGE!

Exceptional value for money spent. Good quality. Huge Cheestakes, you just gotta add the steak fries

Dagwood's is a simple, no frills deli with excellent subs and salads.

Love the chicken salad club. Easy stop for takeout, no wait.

I have eaten here Several Times and I enjoy their cold subs. You certainly get value for your money with them. I have never eaten a "Hot" sub here so I cannot attest to their quality. (Fries on the other hand were awesome too).

From my experience I would have given the place 5 stars, however, their cold salads are not all that flavorful (in my opinion). The portion size was a value for the money though. I have tried the Macaroni, potato salads as well as the coleslaw. Again, they were ok, but not really up to my tastes, certainly not enough to consistently order them.

I have never had a BAD experience there. Even when they are busy during lunch hour, I have never waited more than about 10 minutes for my food (and usually it's much quicker than that). The folks there have ALWAYS ALWAYS been very polite and courteous to me and other customers while I was there. So if you have had a bad experience there It might be just your particular tastes are not met. I suggest trying a different menu item. You might be surprised.

The Facilities are not huge. Someone else mentioned the kitchen looked terrible. I have to say I disagree. At least every time I was there and could look into the kitchen, it looked like a typical kitchen for a facility of that type. If you see food on the counters or garbage in the garbage can, that could just be a sign of a busy restaurant, and that can't be that bad, can it?

Eh, the food was barely edible. The bacon was super fatty, the bread was soaked with grease, and when I quickly glanced into the kitchen, that place was filthy. I felt like I a bomb in my gut. Yuck!
