Called to book food for rehearsal dinner. Told they didn’t do that. Later found out from multiple people that they did. Wouldn’t eat their food now if it was free. If they don’t know you you’re nobody!

You can't please everyone, you can only do your best. Not sure about some of the nasty reviews, the place is always clean when my family eats there. Sounds like to me people just like to pick everything apart. The breakfast is wonderful. Our company just had catering for a christmas party the food was great. I am planning a big party this year and I will be ordering the catering items.

My relatives and I came here recently and was greatly disappointed. It seems like the atmosphere changed since the original owners sold the business. Although the food wasn't completely horrible it was still somewhat edible thats why I gave 1 star. The service was say 1.5 stars and the dessert was 0.5 stars. I could see this place getting good business if it was managed better like the original owners. I seen someone commented and said its alot better because it has TVs now and WiFi. Wow how about get better quality of food and train your workers better and don't take shortcuts. As for the parking lot being improved , I guess it was improved a little bit with gravel but I would consider a major improvement being if it was paved. But I don't know about you but I don't think a restaurant is good just because it has wifi and tvs and a gravel parking lot. Part of running a restaurant is identify your own deficiencies and address them and also be open and responsive to criticism and correct any issues.

I ate here before and wasn't impressed right after they reopened. Being that it was new owners and were just getting started I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try it a second time. This is not an objective pursuit. I had my main course which I couldn' complain. Now the service could use some improvement on politeness and efficiency because some of them seemed very inefficient. When I had the soup it was not the greatest I took one bite and that was enough just a weird taste like it wasn't fresh. From what my friend that was with with me told me they use the same soup for a few days if not more and just heat up portions as they need it instead of making it fresh each. Which I guess it would taste excellent if you got soup the day they made it. Wether or not thats true I don't know, just here say. The pie was bland just a bit. I noticed that only 26% said yum which I noticed a few people had complaints about different things. You would think that the owners or management or whoever is in charge would acknowledge the problems and complaints at hand and improve them immediately or make a plan to improve them and also accept the standards of professional responsibility as other restaurants do. So next time I'll just go to Parkway restaurant or Mazz's.

Portion of breakfast was small especially the sausage breakfast sandwich. The sausage itself was a little bigger than a 50 cent piece. Not on a diet and not a child. I believe it was a small size for that of a child.

Ate there on Sunday for a late lunch, great food, friendly & efficient waitress, and literally the BEST apple pie I have ever had! My entire table was happy

I went to this resturant for the first time the other day and i can say it was just ok! The food took over 30 mins before it came out and i think it wasnt worth the wait....yes the soup was good and so was the choc pie i got. But the meal ummm lets just say not something i would get again over all it was just ok! And the employees seemed very interest in there phones but thats a other topic!

I have come to this place several times and know that the food is great, they give large portions, and everyone is always friendly. The new owners have only been there a few months and have added things like wi-fi and TV's. For the time they have been there they have done what they can from what I can see like fixing the parking lot. As for the reviews of it not being clean, after looking at the dining room from the old owners to the new, it is a 110% improvement.

You aren't going to get a much better meal for the money than at this place.

After reading some of the reviews on this page, I am really quite confused! I am a regular customer at this restaurant and I must say I have NEVER had a bad experience. I have been here as a couple, family, and in a very large group and can not think of one bad thing to say. The waitresses that I have had have all been friendly and efficient, even when very busy. The food is second to none. Real home cooking here! Freshly cooked meats, unbelievable pigs, amazing mashed potatoes, and the gravy is wonderful! The desserts are great as well and I forgot to mention the soup! I have never had soup here that I did not like! The prices are terribly LOW and usually there is enough in one meal to eat twice! I highly recommend this place and the new owners seem to be very nice, down to Earth people too! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

The resturant use to be nice but when the new owners came in they left it go its not clean the food is average and the service sucks the waitresses r loud and dont know how to give refills ...when checking out it took the cashier over 10 mins to check me out bc she thought her cell phone was more important got nothing but attitude!!!... i will not be back!

Figured i would give it a second chance. The food was. Average (like last time) but it took a long time to be waited on noticed the waitress was busy on her phone didnt notice me right away. After being waited on the food took a other 20 mins or more to come out....so if ur in a hurry i wouldnt suggest this place...you will wait a while!!! So service wasnt the best and food takes a while to come out. Was there last week about 6 o clock. A friend said if i wanted good service then i shoulda went before 3!! Maybe ill try that and see if it changes my mind..

I went there with my family the main course was not bad but we were one of two tables and it took almost an hour to get our food and the mashed potatoes and gravy was despicable and my family also agrees. Also the cups must have had soap residue because it sure tasted like it nothing like pepsi with a hint of dish detergent. Then we got pie and noticed it tasted funny and 2 of us got the same pie and looked a little closer and there was mold on it yuummmm just what I wanted and not to mention the waitress if thats what u want to call her she could of cared less about us she came to the table 3 times to take orders and drinks and dessert and then the check didn't even ask us once for refills or if we needed anything or didnt ask how everything was and not to mention the teenybopper cashier waited for a while since she was gabbing to the other people there and acted like we were an inconvenience to her and she was not very polite at all. My grandma was also very disappointed she said it was nothing like how they used to be a few yrs ago. Will not recommend this place quality of food and dessert was well below par and the quality of service just wasnt there you could get better food and service at taco bell ha.

Sassy Sisters was recommended by a friend to cater a wedding reception. The chicken tenders, halupki and parsley potatoes are excellent!
