The food is GREAT but the SERVICE is HORRIBLE!!! They tell you to phone in your order for faster service but either they don't answer the phone or they take your phone order and you still wait about 30 min. after the time they tell you it will be ready. Too many unprofessional teenagers working.

A friend raved about Ms.Vernie's Soulfood, Today was my first & last time there. After dealing with the bad attitude of the teeenage girl taking orders and a 40 minute wait for a phoned in order. I discovered Ms. Vernies soulfood was worth the wait but not the attitude from the juvenile staff. Don't do it unless Ms. Vernie is there herself or you're going to get "HOOD" service.
FYI: I'm told if Ms. Vernie is working her minivan is park infront of the place.
