The food is excellent and probably best in RI. Those who write very negative comments are probably from competition restaurants. Some people wouldn't know good food from dog crap. That's probably why they would prefer Olive Garden. Give me a break. Did you expect to get your ass kissed during your diner? I'd hate to see what you eat at home.

I agree with the previous reviews stating how RUDE the owners of this establishment are. They are rude to their staff as well as to customers. I am shocked that people will stay and work for them, it must be due to the state of the economy. No one should be yelled at and spoke to the way they speak to their staff. We actually had our meals wrapped up and we left after what we saw. I hope the staff smarten up and realize there are many more restaurants they can work at and not be treated like that. The owners were rude to the customers, too. Never a smile or a please/thank you. VERY, VERY RUDE.

I dine at Marios often and love the made to order from scratch food, and pay full price. I say that because I work there as a waiter part time and pride myself on providing the best service possible. It is family run and all our staff is held to high standards.We have been busy and training new employees. Please let me know if you ever receive unsatisfactory service and I will see that it is addressed. My name is Domenic and I usually work Friday & Saturday nights . Please ask for me if you would like me to be your server. Best veal parm & snail salad anywhere. Name a restaurant where the owner Mario is cooking EVERY NIGHT. Consistency that is what makes a restaurant!!! Thank You

If I could have left less than a star, I would have. The owners of this establishment, Carol and Mario, need a lesson in how to talk to people and how to run a business. The wait was so long, the staff couldn't figure out how to accomodate our party. The waiter was just as "blah" and moody as the owners...maybe he was related. The food is decent, but who wants to support rude people like that? Not me. Or the parties I attended with. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else.

I found this place on accident. But what a great find!!!! The food was the best i have EVER had... and that includes living in Italy For 7 months. Daily first course & main course specials that are just to die for. The place is small and comfortable.I highly recommend it to all who are looking for mouth watering Italian food at an great reasonable price.
