I have been going to Caffé Greco since it opened in the late 1980s. The quality has always been excellent but has become even better in the past few years. The barriistas-waiters have been there for years providing great coffee drinks and super service. The atmosphere is as European as you can find in San Francisco. The scones for breakfast and the paninis for lunch are unbeatable. They have always had outside seating, but it has increased since the pandemic. You are as likely to find a table of Italian speakers next to you as English speakers. ENJOY!!
