I have been a loyal customer here since the beginning. Tonight was the nail in the coffin unless Geoge comes back!

I have been going to BNP since the first month it opened in the 90's. It has always been the best pizza in the area. One of the "Best in the city" tags is from me. George (the owner) has been on a very long vacation to Greece, and unfortunately the quality of everything (food and customer service) has suffered. A few months ago I noticed things weren't as good as when George was around, but they still qualified as the best around. That all changed as of the past two times I have ordered pizzas and grinders. My last order before tonight was pretty skimpy with toppings and cheese for the pizzas and less skimpy for the meatball grinder, but still skimpy. Tonight was the nail in the coffin for my Boston Neck loyalty. Every time we get something, there is always a pizza that is constant and the other things change. They have always used fresh sliced tomatoes, tonight they were diced (I'm assuming to make it look like alot with less) and had a canned tomato taste. Sadly that was the least of the problem. We also ordered a steak bomb pizza with extra cheese. This barely had any steak and the extra cheese lacked the extra part. Both pizzas had lots of the cheap filler ingredients (green peppers and white mushrooms.Lastly, we ordered a meatball grinder, one of the hardest sandwiches to make suck, but they managed too. There weren't very many meatball slices and they were paper thin. It was loaded with sauce to make up for this. The only good aspect was the normal amount of provolone.

Finally, their crust always has been awesome. Tonight it tasted like Boboli pre-made crusts, and that was the good point to it tonight. Worse than that, it had the texture of stale Boboli crust.

George, PLEASE COME BACK! You need to resurrect your restaurant into the gem that it was!

I am very disappointed with the service I received. What ever happened to customer is always right? Besides being sworn at and told to bad for getting a pizza that was described different in an "older" menu I was then repeatedly told by employees and boss there was nothing they were going to do for the inconvenience on day ordered.

I can't say enough about this place. Everything I have ordered is the best. Delivery to the island is amazing. And service is excellent. I'm hooked. Boston neck rocks.

Great crust. George's daughter, having taken over, seems to be taking a lot of pride in that.

Also, delicious dessert pizza. Rather original and creative idea.

I love Boston Neck Pizza. The absolute Best crust and perfectly cooked pizza I've had. George is the best and his staff always great on the phone and in person. BUT the last two pizzas I had delivered were not up to George's usually fantastic standards. Crust not and and the ingredients not as good. The pizza was soggy. That NEVER happened before. I later found out that George went back to Greece and his daughter is running it now. I'm so sad not to see George there anymore and sad to see my favorite pizza now no longer distinguished from the rest of the pizza pack. I so hope it is just a transition issue and that soon it can be back on my fantastic list. (10/12/13)

Boston Neck Pizza rocks! We usually order pizza or calzones for delivery. Our food is always fresh and HOT when it arrives. We've never had to wait more than 45 minutes for Jamestown delivery.

OK, so when I first called the guy sounded like he was in the mafia or something and kind of pissed off. I passes this off and ordered a Hawaiian pizza, and was VERY impressed.
