We went to Isabella's in Calimesa with our friends from Tucson...we had a great meal and the ambiance was wonderful...

We have dined dozens of times at Isabella's in Redlands, and have always received great service and superb food. This time, we decided to try Isabella's in Calimesa. We visited at 5:00p.m. on 2/12/10 with another couple.
The restaurant was not busy, but the service was still slow and very inattentive! Our server had to be reminded numerous times about obtaining our beverages, and then still did not get the order correct. Two people in our party ordered the tomato basil soup and it was extremely disappointing! It tasted like it was straight out of the Campbell's Soup can with a couple of pieces of fresh basil tossed in. The temperature of the soup was barely warm, and it was tasteless! Our entrees took a very long time to arrive, and they too were not hot enough, and tasted very blah. We were not offered after-dinner coffee nor dessert, which was fine based on our dissatisfaction with the meal itself!
Our overall experience was terrible, and we would not recommend Isabella's Restaurant in Calimesa, CA. We will continue to patronize Isabella's in Redlands, CA, and would highly recommend you visit their wonderful restaurant.
