The Dvin Restaurant in Saint Louis is one of those out of the way places. It is small, private, the food is the very best, the two Russian ladies are the nicest. A Friend went there and he has been to Russia and he told me that to get this good of Russian cooking you have to visit a Russian home. The food is like going to a private home.
The ladies make feel like you are at home too.
The decorations too are right from St. Peters burg and Moscow. My advise if you never been to a Amazing Russian restaurant. Check out this out of the way place in Webster Groves near Webster University on Big Bend BL. The prices are good and they will treat like a close friend. I know I have going there for 2 years.

I want to describe a paradise place in St. Louis, where I got into accidentally 5 years ago and since then I eat there regularly.
This is very small family restaurant with an unusual name "Dvin", where you can get natural food. This is a place, where you can try Eastern European and real Russian cuisines, like bliny (Russian pancakes), borsch (beet soup) with pirogies, pelmeny, etc. I never ate such a fantastic food anywhere else.
All food is cooked by family recipes, which don't have analogues and their food deserves 5 stars. Besides that, their food is not only homemade from the scratch, they put their soul there, which carries energetic charge. I can tell you that, because when I come to that little cozy restaurant, my bad mood (if I have any) disappears along with negative energy and after I eat there, I don't want to leave that place, where nature itself, located on their windowsill (they have a lot of green plants) fills me (together with food) with positive energy and when I leave that place, I feel myself as totally different person.
I am glad that there are places like Dvin restaurant, but unhappy that there are so few of them.
The restaurant is operated by mother-daughter team; mother Lidiya cooks and daughter Natasha serves food. Those women are not only beautiful and kind, they are also very modest. I want to thank them for doing such an important mission to cheer and heal people with their food and attitude. I consider them as doctors, who help people to restore themselves with food from Dvin.
