This place does not know how to make sushi...
The fish has never been fresh the 3 times I have given it a chance. The salmon tasted ... smoked... but the chef claimed it was regular salmon, the salad was dismal, the miso soup is watered down and tasted like they used the wrong type of bullion to make it... the nigiri sushi bed rice portions are too small, and the rice does not seem to be of sushi grade... its sticky and bland... the waitress there is flighty (forgot to bring me extra wasabi 2 times) she never filled up our drinks, offered sake or desert. She came by too often asking how the food was. She did not know how to work the credit card machine and told me my card was declined... in front of my date. I had to hand her 2 different cards before one "worked." I used the "declined" card 20 minutes later when we went out for a drink. The traditonal japanese rooms (where you sit on the floor with no shoes and there is a privacy door) was great. The place did not seem upkept very well...
the sushi is poor, the service is poor, the value is poor and the atmosphere was a little above average.
