Everthing I have ever had was very good . Great infact but the Chicken Marsala was the worst I have ever had!!!!.Dry, hardly any chicken or sauce! Maybe it was a bad night!

After the meal we shared in May, we booked the whole restaurant for my son's wedding rehearsal party! We brought our own wine and desserts and Natale's catered the rest of the meal, serving it family style. Each table had a relish tray of fresh vegetables and dip. First course was Caesar Salad, followed by Chicken Parmiigan and Vodka sauce Penne pasta . Next course was roast beef and roasted potatoes, followed by porketta and tortellini with broccoli. Wish I had photos of the fresh fruit "platters" that arrived at each table, Picture a large bowl with a smaller bowl of fruit dip in the center, then the slices of melons, strawberries and grapes were arranged to look like a giant flower with the dip as it's center.

Only thing that I would have changed is that I had asked a waitress for a knife and dessert plates as I wanted to cut the pies. At the meeting to plan the party, the idea was to place all the desserts on a table in the front room- like a dessert buffet. The waitress said, "Oh, I'll take them in the kitchen and cut them and bring them out on trays." I had envisioned trays of dessert plates, holding slices of pie that would be put on the dessert table. Instead, one table got a platter with all the cream puffs- another table got a platter with all the cannoli- and the other tables got platters holding thin slices of pie- without plates under them. Very awkward for the guests to try and serve themselves like that. I never saw anything like it- and MY mother had owned a restaurant for years.

It's sad that the inexperience of one waitress had marred an otherwise excellent meal- but our guests laughed it off after I explained the mix up. Would have been so much nicer, though, if it had been a dessert buffet. the waitress told me that she thought it would have been awkward for people to get up to go to a buffet- but, as I pointed out- they had been visiting the bar all night- in the same room. (Also sad when other guests see everyone at one table with cream puffs or cannoli and they can't have it- a dessert buffet is first come, first serve- there's a choice.)

The food IS very good. The atmosphere was perfect- even had a huge rose hedge in full bloom near the front door, where everyone stopped to pose for photos. My ONLY suggestion is that you list exactly how the whole meal is to be served- in writing- so the staff can refer to it. Please don't pass this quaint restaurant by just because of one mistake- everyone did have a great evening with a wonderful tasty meal!

Natalie's occupancy is approximately 60 people, which makes for an intimate dining experience. Food was absolutely marvelous! I tried the Chicken Marsala with Tiramisu for dessert. A fresh, "from scratch" meal- not like the chain restaurants where the majority of the food is prepared at an off site industrial kitchen and reheated at the franchises. This is a real "Mom & Pop" family restaurant. Support a local entrepreneur and enjoy a good meal at the same time!

I live in Delaware and visit the Scranton area often. I have been to Natale's on several occasions and have never been disappointed. My most recent visit was on 4/18/14, and as usual the food was delicious and the servings were generous. Our wait
person was friendly and professional. I will continue to dine in this fine establishment.

I held a shower at Natale's on September 10 2011. The food was outstanding, service perfect, and each of the 45 guest had rave reviews about restaurant! I would encourage anyone that is thinking of a small venue in the city of Scranton to look Tony Natale's Restaurant.

I recently was at this Restaurant on Friday night and the food was amazing. I had a sea food special of clams, shrimp, lobster, and scallops with a wine garlic sauce over linguine and it was absolutely delicious. I went with a party of 9 and each person's meal was just as great. I will return.
