Food was surprisingly good for a neighborhood spot! Went back the next day and ordered the same thing again.

My office is close to Fongs so we eat there quite often. I have NEVER experienced any issues such as the person before me posted. The owner (Sophia) is very nice and they do a lovely job with servicing their clients. The Food is fresh and you can get it as spicy (or bland) as you would like. They do not ad MSG and I have never had greasy food, old food, or bad food.

We ate their about 1 year ago and the food was ok. We tried it again yesterday and it was the worst tasting food I'd ever eaten. The prices were higher this time, but I said ok since the food quality should be reflected by it. We ordered (3) eggrolls, (1) large beef w/ snow peapods, (1) small chicken fried rice.
The eggrolls were old and tasted like freezer burn. They were so hard, they had to be cut with a knife. They were very small (1 1/2" dia). There were 5 layers of wrap around about a 1/2 teaspoon of filling. It was like eating cardboard that had rotten food stored inside it
The quart size of beef and snow peapods was actually a pint in a quart box. The beef was so foul tasting my kids said it tasted like old beef jerky. It had the consistency of beef jerky and was obviously old and previously frozen. All the vegetables were soaked in some bland and greasy sauce and void of taste, except grease. They were obviously old and previously frozen. The consistency of the vegetables can be compared to an overcooked pasta noodle.
The pint size of chicken fried rice was a larger portion than the quart of other we ordered. This was not fired rice. This was very greasy rice that, like the rest of the food we ordered, tasted old. It was void of any type of seasoning vegetable, eg. onion. Their were five small pieces of dark chicken meat in the entire order and it was definitely old and previously frozen. It was rancid tasting and was picked out and tossed.
This place needs to be run out of town on a rail. This was worse than any frozen food I'd eaten in my life. Since I felt Fongs was serving old and potentially lethal food, i reported it to the health inspector at the county. My two kids and I made it half way through the meal before our stomachs became upset. We felt the trashcan was a better home for this trash.
The best part of this meal was the 1/2 hour I spent on the toilet the next morning purging my body of this toxic waste. This was the worst food I've eaten in my life. Save your money and don't waste it on this eating establishment not interested in serving edible food.

The food is great! I love the Spring rolls and the Almond Boneless chicken and my husband loves all the Thai dishes, especially the Tom Kha Gai.

Fong's restaurant is super! They have a very friendly staff and have redecorated in the past year to accommodate eat-in patrons. Great menu items that include Thai foods as well. Take-out is available. We love their Egg rolls and Hot and Sour Soup. Try them out!
